This location was easy to get to and from. The lobby was nice and everyone we interacted with who worked here was friendly and helpful. Especially the bartender who let us take the wine opener on a promise that we would bring it back. The cafe area was nice and we got breakfast from there each morning. They had a breakfast buffet for $12 but we didn't need that much. My only two complaints are the the pillows were horrible and hardly had any support and the stupid extra fee for a third person in a room. I had to sleep with four pillows just to get any support. And for the additional fee, why have two queen beds if you can't have a total of 4 people in the room. We only had 3 people. Also for a group where everyone is a member with status with Marriot, you would think that would be something waived or not charged at all. Do better there, Marriott. Overall though everyone who worked here was great and it was a pleasant stay.

Location great! Staff was nice! Rooms, well that's the reason for the low rating. The room looked old and not kept. The shower was gross looking, and even the carpet to our room entry was disgusting and torn to shreds. I don't understand with all the competition around why they wouldn't take pride in having a clean hotel.

This stay did not reflect the best that Marriott (and the Courtyard brand) has to offer. My Travelocity booking was altered to arrive (6 Nov), 1 day before I was scheduled to be there (7 Nov). When I did not show up (because I did not know the reservation had been changed and never intended to arrive on the 6th), and automated process cancelled my reservation, unbeknownst to me. I flew in on 7 Nov and, upon arrival was told that my reservation had been cancelled. I spoke with 3 separate desk representatives (including the front-desk supervisor and the manager) but was not able to correct and was frustrated. Though I never belittled, or berated the staff, I did not hide my frustration. Staff tried to say that "Central Reservations" altered my reservation and they had no control over this. According to the system audit, which they showed me, my reservation had been modified on 31 Oct. They pointed out that some code had been changed which associated the reservation with the Ribbon Tech Forum being held onsite (7-10 Nov). While I was there for that conference, I made no attempt to associate my reservation with the conference (did not supply a code, did not speak to anyone about it). Travelocity had no idea that I was here for the conference. Courtyard front office staff tried to suggest that Travelocity had made the changes, but Travelocity denies this (asserting they are not permitted to alter a reservation unless the guest is actively on the phone with them. Travelocity attempted to resolve with the hotel via two separate calls but, in both examples, they were transferred to the manager and the call was disconnected. This frustration was heightened when I overheard the desk staff tell another conference attendee the same story: "We acknowledge your reservation was for 7-10 Nov. We show it was modified to 6-10 Nov and, when you did not show up on 6 Nov, we cancelled the reservation." I engaged this guest to make sure I'd heard this correctly, and she acknowledged that was what she was told. Front desk staff informed me that this other guests details were non of my concern and I rebutted "that may be true, but don't you find it odd that you have two guests that are both (separately) in the same predicament. Staff would not acknowledge this and I went back to working with Travelocity to attempt to address my lack of accommodations. This resulted, in the staff calling the Allen Police Department. Officers from Allen PD showed up to resolve the issue and I was informed the hotel was seeking criminal trespass, claiming they had asked me several times to leave the establishment. (I refuted these claims with the officers and proceeded to revisit the facts as I saw them). When asked for proof of my claim that I was (or was supposed to be) a guest at the hotel, I provided the boarding passes for the two flights I took to get to Dallas, the hotel confirmation, and the Travelocity itinerary. Ultimately, the manager informed the officer that they would put me up in a hotel 12 minutes down the road for the evening and then bring me back into the facility for the remainder of the stay. This was an adequate compromise. Had it been presented initially, the other events of that evening would not have occurred. It is quite unfortunate that things played out the way they did. Calling the police was unnecessary and did not result in any charges (let alone criminal trespass).

Shower door bottom seal leaked profusely. had I not placed the bath mat and a bath towel in the right spot, a lot of water would have flooded about a quarter of the floor. There were zero USB ports in the room. ZERO. So, if you’re going to stay here make sure you bring adapters for everything you need to charge.

Checked in for my stay for the weekend and was greeted by Freddie at the front desk. He was awesome very personable and informative. Had a difficult customer call while I was checking in and handled it like a real professional. He is definitely an expert in the hospitality business and made me feel welcome and at home. Room is clean hotel is very nice great location. Definitely recommend.

The hotel looks great - 1. It was clean 2. The lobby is attractive and spacious 3. The room was nice. It was clean. So, you ask, why only one star? Well, this is why: 1. A very expensive necklace was stolen by housekeeping. I did not leave the necklace out in the open. It was hidden in my suitcase. So, they had to go out of their way to open the suitcase and hunt for something to steal. I don't think this is the first theft like this at the hotel. However, I think it may be one of their first police reported thefts. Yes, I called the police and they filed an incident report and they will do an investigation. Will the hotel do anything? No. They said the housekeeper said I may have left it on the sheets and it got carried to the laundry room. No. More like, they stole it and quickly stashed it in the sheets and carried it away so it wouldn't be on them if caught red handed. This hotel has many weddings here. On my stay, I saw a minimum of 4 weddings posted on the boards. So, if you plan to go to this hotel, you will most likely like the cleanliness of the place. However, do not leave anything of value in the room. Even if you think you hid it well, it will likely be stolen. There are NO safes in the rooms. Don't do what I did and leave your guard down to let housekeeping clean your room. If you can go without and make due, then do this. Otherwise, if you do need them to clean, leave absolutely nothing of value in the room.

Me and my family had the pleasure of staying at this hotel from 1/11/23-1/14/23. The staff were all friendly and helpful and made me and my family feel welcome and took great care of us. We enjoyed breakfast every morning and we had the most attentive and most wonderful Bautista’s that I have ever come across. CJ and Shemika welcomed me and my family and they made sure we had EVERYTHING we needed. They were VERY attentive and we felt like they catered to us, even though they seemed to make their way around the tables of all the guests that were eating. The service they provided was memorable and perfect!!! Definitely not what o expected at a hotel breakfast! CJ and Shemika were both AWESOME! Every morning we went they treated us as if they were anticipating our arrival. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! It was a great stay around some great people.

This place is my go-to place for putting up visiting friends and relatives. The place is perfectly situated surrounded by restaurants and shopping. I usually book the executive suite which is very large, updated and has a mini-fridge. I believe most of those types of rooms are on the very top floor. It costs a few dollars more obviously but it is well worth it! Very quiet floor and I've had no issues. The check-in staff is friendly enough and the common areas are absolutely beautiful! The maid service is every other day. I think that might be because of staffing issues but not a big deal. The bar and restaurant have strange hours that seem to constantly change. But, like I said you are surrounded my many drinking and dining establishments. I really like the vibe of this place and will continue to give it my business.

Terrible experience with my 2nd stay. 1st time I was there I was aware of the air conditioners being very noisy. 2nd stay I requested to be given a room with a quiet air conditioner and the staff asked me to find a different hotel and recommended Hilton, etc. Was shocked by the response.
