Charlie needs either some training in Customer Service, or to work in another position that does not involve customers.I placed a very simple order of Chips and Queso, with guac on the side, to go (my wife likes guac and I do not, so I want to let her have it to herself). I pay and before I have even left the counter, Charlie is dropping an F-bomb in a conversation with his co-worker. Luckily, my daughter wasn't with me. Nevertheless, very unprofessional but I blew it off, waited for my order and then proceeded to the car.At the car, my gut told me I better check my order as I almost always regret it when I don't. I'm sure you know the feeling. Queso? Check. Chips? Check. Guac on the side? Nope. So it is either already mixed in or I didn't get it at all. I consider accepting it as-is, but why should I accept something that is not what I ordered and paid for? I check my receipt and see that it says "no guac."So I walk back in and he asks me, "Did something happen to your order?" I respond, "Yes, I ordered guac on the side and I don't see it." He takes a look inside the bowl and says that it doesn't seem to be in there. I said, "You rang it up as no guac. How does that mean guac on the side?" and his response was something along the lines of "..don't worry about it..mistakes do happen."Yes, mistakes do happen but it's the "don't worry about it" part that felt very condescending. Not like "no worries," but more like "you wouldn't understand" or "I don't have to explain myself." Well, I'm the one who paid money for your product and rightly expected to get what I ordered but almost got home with an incorrect order. I'll kindly not worry about it when you have a system that works. I have worked in service since my teen years and I would NEVER tell a customer "don't worry about" how we made a mistake that almost cost you time, money, hassle, etc.Charlie said they would remake my order and walked away toward 2 co-workers who are now standing near and trying to suppress laughter at either the situation itself or something he said or did (I couldn't tell). Either way, also very unprofessional.Charlie returns with a new bowl with guac on the side and says, "here you go sir, FREE of charge." I asked, "What's free of charge?" to which he responds, "well you're getting an extra bowl of queso," as if he is doing me some HUGE favor to let me have both of them. I guess I should feel so lucky now and we should hold hands and sing Kumbaya? How insulting!Torchy's has good food, but I can easily go to a competitor down the road where I know I would never be treated that way.Please don't bother with your canned "go to our website and take even more of your valuable time to submit feedback on our form so that someone who maybe cares can hear about this" response.

Don’t believe the hype - way overpriced for a self serve fast food Tex/mex restaurant. Another place that expects you to tip for basically no service. The food was luke warm and overpriced.

Torchy’s Taco is a good restaurant. This is the first time that I have ever eaten here. I thought the nachos and queso were good. I had two different types of tacos. They were good. For the quality of the food we think it was somewhat overpriced. We recommend this location.

I eat at three other Torchys. All simple great food. This Torchys sux.The Mexican corn was WAY over seasoned. The Chicken Grand Burrito was also over seasoned. The size was kind of stupid jumbo, but so was the price. The corn, burrito, and drink came to $19.70. That helped ruin the experience. I won't come near this Torchys ever again.

Love Torchy’s but twice I had an online order with wrong food sent. Both times I called the store and they didn’t seem like they cared much. Like “yeah, drive back 15 min and help us get your order right”.Will keep ordering because we love it, but I guess I will have to check the order items every time.
