We visited after about a year and this place has gone completely down hill. We orders our favorite bhakari dish and it tasted like nothing we’ve experienced before. Their chef has changed. My wife saw the dish arrived and even before the thali was set down asked if the chef has changed. The food was hnrexognizable and we left 90 percent of it on the plate. It was shockingly bad and we will not be returning ever.

Traveled from Houston today due to my delightful food experience on my last visit in 2023. This time the food was inedibley spicy and loaded with oil. Bread was stale. Pathetic food and service.Seems the cook changed. On previous visit my whole group loved the food and I promoted the food across houston, made a reel and urged people to travel 260miles. But today's experience was horrible.Never coming back. Management urge you to kindly rectify the food quality and taste or future doesn't look great and pls dont let Chef Vishnus name down. So really resolve instead of replying with general review replys. reply. improve your open timings if possible.Train servers to be friendly instead of quiet order taking robots.

Drove long distance with family to visit this restaurant with very high expectations to get authentic Maharashtrian food. Very pleased to find Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Statue and Gajanan Maharaj photo at entrance. Ordered Misal, Zunka Bhakar and Pavbhaji, verified with member taking order to ensure that he got it correct.Pavbhaji was served after 10 minutes, taste was not up to the mark but it is ok (as I was expecting Maharashtrian dishes to be more authentic) after few minutes one member came with misal pav but when he saw one member is eating pav bhaji just went back with no dialogue, we were surprised. When nothing was served for next 15-20 minutes (which is @30 minutes from order) checked with server (I need to go and approach him as no one was showing up since long) then he just casually answered that he mixed it up and returned misal assuming that we already got it (he assumed on his own that pav bhaji which was served to one of the family member is misal not checking his orders or having a single word with us). he then went to kitchen and got the same plate which he was carrying 20 minutes back, as plate was kept as is neither it was hot anymore and all farsan put in the gravy is almost at dissolving stage. It was shocking to have no apology neither care to provide fresh and dish in right shape and temperature. after these 2 negative experiences, hoping for last one to positive to have sweet end. After waiting for 10 more minutes need to check with server again about third item, by that time other members from my family have almost finished their eating. Surprisingly, server asked me wait as he need to check if there any item still pending to serve, it was shocking that after 40 minutes from order server was not even aware that customer is waiting for the item. (It was not a rush hour or situation like full restaurant, we were only customer when we reached restaurant and one more family came after 30 minutes, that it).10 minutes after the reminder, I got Zunka bhakari but any Maharashtrian can not call or acknowledge it as bhakari. It was flatten dough half cooked. It was the last thing I was expecting after this much wait. As per our family values, we are taught to not to waste any food irrespective we are eating at home or outside (besides that I was hungry and waiting for 45-50 minutes to get the dish), hence tried my best to finish the dish but could not do so even after my best attempts. It was my work experience of the Bhakri in my whole life........... overall it spoiled all the fun anticipated with Maharashtrian food. Service was already dull and then food put the final nail on our experience.Experience was so bitter that I was not even thinking to put any time to put review... but after few days I thought that I should put review. I have great respect for Manoharji and would love to see Maharashtrian restaurant successful in USA. In case, tactical level gaps are not known to next level then how improvement can be done.Investing my time with expectation that senior level member will make note of the same. Specifics and details are provided so that no ambiguity can be created by any operating member. Hope management/ Manoharji will take this feedback constructively and make necessary improvements.Keeping my hopes alive that changes will be made and I could proudly recommend the Maharashtrian restaurant to my contacts (post improvement).

If you have never had Maharashtrian food, you ar ein for a treat. If you already know about it, this is the place to go! We absolutely love the quality of their food, the overall service level and the general vibe of this restaurant! I love their Sabudana Khichdi, Kothimbir Wadi, Misal Pav, Wada Pav!!! My wife who is more pickier than me when it comes to Indian food (as I tease her that she grew up without the spices and colors in the Midwest haha) also finds a lot of things to her liking! She always gets the Varan Bhaat, if you want something very low spicy for someone!

Buffet was bad. No salt in biryani, Halwa was not sweet, curries were oversalted. Live dosa counter was worst. No service person at live chat counter.

I had visited the restaurant with my parents who are came from India actually I went first time to the restaurant and vegetarian options are wide variety with plenty of maharashtra special items. We asked server to suggest items he suggested us Pavbhaji and Paneer pakoda, Sabudana wada, Thalipeetha and Paneer Tikka Dum biryani, Mutter mushroom, Shrikand in main course which are famous in maharashtra. My family and me enjoyed a lot after having the food it I will say it is one of the best and hygienic home style food restaurant in Dallas with excellent and friendly service I have never seen.

We have ordered Kothimbir vadi , it was good. But main course was so bad, baigan and bhakri we have ordered but bhakri was not even proper baked , also it’s thick. Shrikhand was good but poori was smelly , oil should be used fresh and good .

The food is delicious. Quantity is far better than any Indian place in plano for Punjabi food. We ordered one sabzi for two people. It was sufficient. Don’t forget to order their Shrikhand, it’s worth a try. Nice experience over all.

Worst food. I ordered masale Bath and they gave me vegetable rice. Sabudana khichadi ordered was overcooked and dark brown in color. Puran poli ordered was uncooked. Waste of money. Only thing I liked was Vada pav. They ruined Maharashtrian food.
