Charges you for sauce (other than ketchup) when you order online and then they forget to put it in the bag :(
It would be fine if you could choose drive thru for online orders so you can check before leaving but with curbside by the time you look the employee is already gone :(
This Whatabuger consistently seems to disappoint to the point that I am finally writing a bad review. I've been through the drive-thru, door dashed from this location, and today I went inside to sit down and eat. Every single table was dirty on top and underneath, so we just sat at the least dirty. Fries were served stale and slightly warm. Soda wasn't carbonated enough and not as crisp of flavor like the machines probably weren't clean. (gross). I used to clean them at a previous job. They got nasty quick and lost flavor if not well kept. Every time my wife and I get fries, they are more often than not stale and half packed. The pickles on the burgers are usually stacked like a sloppy pile of poker chips in a random spot instead of spread out. Burgers are squished flat. Even had a stale bun a couple of times. The whataburger experience has been completely ruined for a lot of locations, mostly in the cities. The owners don't give a crap to check in or hire good management apparently. Go to a whataburger in the country and see how the food and hospitality is there. Huge difference! Make Whataburger great again. Also, fix the dang drive-through. No one wants to wait 45 minutes for this crap to not be properly greeted or even offered Katchup when finally arriving at the window. Look at how Chick-fil-A does it. For god sake, your lettin In-and-Out beat you out in Texas. What a shame.
Unfortunately, I won't ever know if this location will be fixed because i will not be going back.

Like most Texans, I LOVE Whataburger!!! Sadly, I moved to Omaha five years ago, and the only time I get Whataburger is when I come home to visit my mother. My wife is from Omaha, and I introduced her to Whataburger a few years ago when she lived with me in San Antonio for a while. Now whenever we come home, we have to have Whataburger first thing, and at least two or three times during a weekend. This location is extremely clean, friendly staff, and great food!

This is by far the worste Whataburger I have ever been to. Been eating whataburger for 25 years. This is the only location to consecutively mess up orders. Last 4 orders have been incorrect by missing an item or giving the wrong item, or topping asked for were not recieved. Lastly, I called up politely asking if they could add a sauce to my doordash order as they dont offer extra sauces through the apps, they said yes, then proceeded to not put the 1 extra sauce in the bag. Consistently terrible service, do not recommend this location if you are wanting what you pay for. Food is usually cold too…

The drive through is ALWAYS slow even when they have enough staff. It took almost 30 minutes to get through 3 other cars to receive our order (6/29, 10:00 pm)

Just had this happen - 06/29/25
Waiting for my food, I saw a staff member come out to the dining side drink station to fill drinks for what I assumed was a delivery order. They proceeded to drop all four empty cups onto the floor, pick them up, and start filling them to go out on delivery. That is a major health code violation.
This needs to be addressed.

Many reasons not to go back , ordered fries no salt - usually hot / fresh , these cold , bits and pieces , burger no onion had onion I bit into , ordered 3 burgers, only two in bag , 7 people/orders behind us got their food before our last burger arrived, it wasn't a priority for staff.

We were visiting Texas from Wisconsin, and i can't express how much gratitude I was on how Ixchel and Lamont were at handling my issue with my order. TOP NOTCH! These are the types of employees that go above and beyond for the customers! We had a great experience at What-A-Burger! Can't WAIT TO COME BACK! What-A-Fans for life!
