Yearby's food is absolutely amazing!!! The brisket melts in your mouth. The owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. There's nothing on their menu that I don't like and I'm a picky eater. It's definitely worth the drive, trust me you will not be disappointed.

Absolute MUST for everyone to come try. They don't serve pork, but let me tell you, you won't miss it. I've been to Louie Meuller, Franklin, and Blacks, to name drop a few, and Yearby's is right there with the best of them. Melt in your mouth brisket. I can't speak to the poultry or sausage, because I haven't tried it yet. I've never ordered meatloaf at a restaurant in my life until now, and I'm so glad I did here. But the real kicker for me was the SIDES (hats off to Sabrina...no shade to the "meat man", CJ, though). Sabrina won't share her secrets, but she is the brains behind the sides. At most BBQ joints I've been to, the sides are a throw away....they feel obligatory...fillers, if you will. At Yearby's, every single side is thoughtful, executed beautifully, elevated, and intentional. The banana pudding blew my mind. It's just banana pudding, after all...what more can you do with it? Well, Sabrina found a way to take it to the next level. Try a little bit of everything. You will not be disappointed. This is a wonderful family business where the love language is amazing food, and they LOVE to love on people.

UPDATE: Coleslaw and beans...insane. DinoRib... unbelievable *BUTTER*, even the quick pickles and jalapenos are fantastic. Tried the hot links and chicken; both incredible. Not too much smoke on either, the sausage was a spectacular grind (no gristle or veins), and the chicken was smoked to perfection and perfectly moist. Insert ***STANDING SLOW CLAP***

Legitimate Texas Barbecue. Let’s start with the brisket, great smoke ring, flavor, and pull. I see a Texas Monthly ranking in their future. They don’t do pork here which is fine as this isn’t East Texas style, it’s sort of a new take on Central Texas European Meat Market style. That is until you get to the sides. One word; elevated. I’ve eaten ALL over the south (and the world for that matter) and I’ve never had collard greens this good. Trust me, try some. The elotes and brisket mac and cheese were phenomenal. Final game changer; banana pudding. It is different and more complex than you are expecting. We figured out the secret ingredient but we aren’t telling. As for the waterice, I had never had this before despite Philly (where it hails from) being one of my favorite food towns in the U.S. Give it a run, its perfect for a hot day! Here is your chance to catch a place before it makes the Texas Monthly list.

Everything was delicious, but the smoked meatloaf and house-made hot link were exemplary. Also loved the barbecue beans. I've eaten at most of the notable barbecue places across the state, and this meal was as memorable as any. Worth the detour.

Having previously only eaten Yearby’s when they were a food truck, we were beyond excited to finally experience their brick-and-mortar location—and it did not disappoint! The transition to a permanent spot has only made the experience better. The quality of the meat, the skillful smoking process, and the attention to detail easily rival even the most renowned BBQ spots in Texas. The bark on the meat was especially impressive—crispy, flavorful, and packed with smoky goodness that takes the taste experience to the next level. The dino ribs, in particular, were a highlight—the meat fell off the bone with ease, incredibly tender and bursting with flavor with each bite.

We were also thrilled that our friends from Boston had the chance to try Yearby’s for the first time. It’s always a pleasure sharing such a hidden gem with others, especially when they leave just as impressed as we were!

What truly sets Yearby’s apart is not just the phenomenal meat, but their sides—something that often gets overlooked at BBQ joints! Unlike typical BBQ spots, Yearby’s sides are exceptionally good! We had mac and cheese, street corn, and potato salad; every side was thoughtfully crafted and added a delicious depth to the meal. It’s clear that they put as much care into the sides as they do into the meats!

What also makes Yearby’s so great is its dedication to halal practices, making it an excellent choice for those seeking both quality and dietary-conscious options. On top of the fantastic barbecue and sides, their water ice is the perfect refreshing treat to balance the richness of the meal and you can even mix the flavors! The friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere only add to the charm of this hidden gem.

Lastly, there was seating both inside and outside and parking was convenient making the whole experience that much easier and more enjoyable!

My BBq infatuated brother brought me here last Saturday. CJ, Sabrina and staff are the best salt of the earth people who truly pour their love into their food. Everything from the meats to the sides to the waterice was exceptional...real deal BBQ! If you haven't been you must go.

The BBQ at Yearby’s was absolutely legit. Very delicious. We ordered the brisket, hot links, chicken, Street corn and beans. Everything was better then expected plus everything was Halal.

We got there 10 min after 11am. No lines. Ordered and got my food with in 10 min. The owner and the cast was very friendly. You can tell and taste they really care about quality of the food. Even gave us some sample burnt ends. We highly recommend it. Stop by this place before it explodes with popularity and the lines are 4 hours long.

Dietary restrictions: Everything on the menu was Halal. Even the hot links.
