The steaks were all fatty and tough. Another couple leaving at the same time we left made the same complaint. The sides were cold. 80 bucks for two plates of fat and cold sides is way over priced.

My son went into this place today after calling in a brisket sandwich with sausage on the side. He ordered a brisket sandwich with some sausage in the side. He received a sausage sandwich and was told when he got there that there was no brisket. My son has MI and he said that he was treated very badly. The lady was very rude to him. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. I will NOT REFER ANYONE HERE BUT WILL TELL everyone how they treated my son with Mental illness. The food was awful, hard meat...

This place used to be a really good place close by to get great tasting BBQ and sides. Twice in the last couple months I have stopped by for a take home meal and found once home the BBQ was subpar. The first time the ribs I was given were dried out and inedible. I threw them away. The second time which was yesterday the BBQ was the worse I have ever had anywhere. The ham was not at all top quality meat like they used to serve. And the brisket was chopped instead of sliced. I do not want chopped in my 3 meat BBQ plate order. If they are out of sliced I should have been notified and I would have canceled the whole order. This place of business is definitely not being run like it had been and it shows in the service and food quality. Not going back here again.

I really wanted to love this place because the people working here are super friendly and great servers. However, both times I've tried the brisket it just hasn't been good. First time was late in the day and the brisket was super dry and over cooked, just not pleasant to eat. It ruined the brisket Mac and cheese. Second time it was like leftover brisket that had that reheated feel and flavor. Just not good. Not sure I'll go back and try a third time.

Seems like a really great place. We got hooked on what was to offer after seeing the photos on the food on Google. We drove in from Abilene excited to try this place. When we arrived we were told to sit anywhere and someone would be right with us. We had just barely sat down before the waitress had our drink orders and had given us our menus. We were told while ordering drinks that they are out of brisket and steak, okay no big deal. We ordered the 2 meat plate with sausage and ribs. The waitress came back a few moments later to tell us they are now out of ribs, (Okay no big deal). She then asks the person I'm with what they would like to substitute for it, and they choose ham. As I was about to tell her my choice, she walked away entirely.We asked to pay for drinks and just to leave. She was very nice and told us it was okay and just to go.I really wanted to try this place but now I'm off put and don't want to waste the gas to come back out for nothing. Was hoping to discover a local treasure. I did not find it here.

Have tried this restaurant two times now and the food was good, but each time they were out of key items like buns, chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes. I just think if you run out of food then go to the grocery store and buy what you need to properly serve your guests. Was really disappointed. Almost left. The service was good, though. Won’t be back.

Customers definitely need the option to use their Credit Card. Having to pay a fee to use your ATM to get cash to pay our bill, was very inconvenient and just ruins the experience. It cost me $5.95 just to pay my bill. Seems like some tax evasion to me.

It was good. The waitress was very sweet, she checked on us a lot, which is the way you do it. We had a appetizer of fried sliced jalapeños they were pretty good the batter on the peppers need to be thicker so it stays on better. Way too many peppers for two people, gave us too many cups of ranch. The sausage was good but it needed a good char on it and the brisket was dry and then hot brisket grease was poured over it, to greasy, couldn't finish it but over all it was good.
