The steaks were all fatty and tough. Another couple leaving at the same time we left made the same complaint. The sides were cold. 80 bucks for two plates of fat and cold sides is way over priced.
Seems like a really great place. We got hooked on what was to offer after seeing the photos on the food on Google. We drove in from Abilene excited to try this place. When we arrived we were told to sit anywhere and someone would be right with us. We had just barely sat down before the waitress had our drink orders and had given us our menus. We were told while ordering drinks that they are out of brisket and steak, okay no big deal. We ordered the 2 meat plate with sausage and...
Have tried this restaurant two times now and the food was good, but each time they were out of key items like buns, chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes. I just think if you run out of food then go to the grocery store and buy what you need to properly serve your guests. Was really disappointed. Almost left. The service was good, though. Won’t be back.
