We were looking for authentic Mexican food during our stop on Anthony and were very grateful we stopped at El Jefa! The service was great, the food delicious and the prices were exceptional. I had the Chimi Plate and it came with 2 large green or red chimi’s with rice and beans! It was delicious. Highly recommend!

We have eaten at La Jefa's for the past couple of years. We have never had a bad meal there. The food is delicious, served promptly, and the wait staff is extremely responsive and helpful. Their combination plate is awesome as are their chimichangas and rolled tacos. In my opinion they have the best iced tea served in large mason jars. Overall great experience and I would highly recommend eating there.

Hubby and I stopped just as a drive by. Food is amazing. Young lady that took our order to was great, even though there was a language barrier she tried cause our Spanish is minimal. But then the owner came out and he was even more amazing. Made me feel like a regular customer. And Margaritas are awesome. Service was fast, food hot atmosphere nice. Overall great experience!
