We got here before opening time, expecting a line but there was none, especially with a 4.7 on maps. They were out of Dino ribs even though we were the first customer, we were fine with that and ordered a plate of brisket and sausage with Mac and cheese a side. The sausage was good, the casing was crispy and it wasn't dried out. The brisket was lean but not too dry. We decide to get a fattier piece and ordered 1/2 lbs to get a fair assessment of the establishment. What we got had little bark and was just disappointing with no smoke flavor. The beer wasn't too bad atleast. Maybe we were expecting too much from a BBQ place with a 4.7 rating but I had Texas BBQ with a 4.3 rating tasting way better in other states, I won't even compare this to any good places from Texas.

Being as this was my first time of MANY to come, I can confidently say that this restaurant came as a shock to me who isn't the biggest meat lover. Nonetheless, this place was curated with an amazing atmosphere, staff, and of course the food itself. The whole time I was there, from the sit down to the 5 minute wait, was just a good experience all around. The food again was great along with all the sides and all fit perfectly with one another all stacking for one complete meal. I would highly recommend to all who are thinking of visiting to trust this review and experience it for yourself and any others you choose to bring along.

What an incredible experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere pulled us in—warm, welcoming, and full of good energy. The music was perfectly curated, with a variety that kept the vibe alive without overpowering the room. It set the stage for something special.
Then the food hit the table… and wow. The brisket was a work of art—deep smoke ring, tender, moist, and packed with flavor. You could taste the time and care that went into it. The beans were on another level—rich, savory, and unforgettable. Paired with an ice-cold beer, it was the kind of meal you talk about for days.
Service was dialed in from top to bottom. The hostess greeted us with a smile, and even the busser checked in to make sure we were doing okay. That kind of attention to detail is rare. Food came out hot and fast, but never rushed.
And then we met the owner. Covered in smoke and still hustling—grinding like no other—but he still carved out a few minutes to talk with us. Down-to-earth, humble, and clearly passionate about what he does. You don’t see that often. It made the whole experience feel even more real—more personal.
Highly, highly recommended. This isn’t just a BBQ joint. It’s a place built with heart, hustle, and pride. We’ll absolutely be back.
