The brisket was juicy and tender. Good flavor, not too smoky, and well seasoned. The sauce has some tartness to it and not overly sweet. Good portion size. Overall a great sandwich.
The owner is super nice! I like to try BBQ wherever I go. The sliced brisket is perfect! There is nothing that can be done to make it better. Pinto beans are amazing also. I wasn't impressed with the chicken. It tasted reheated and no flavor other than the smoked flavor which is good but needed seasoning. It was also dry. The coleslaw and ribs are really good too. He has a tent set up to wait outside. He knows the value of a meal for the money you pay; Great quality food for the price. Food here is always good and he is adding more to the menu as well as adding the hours of operation. You can only eat so many burgers or tacos in Aransas pass. It's nice to have an actual option to choose from without having to go to rockport, portland or corpus for some good BBQ.
