This is my favorite place for drinks. The beer selection is the best this side of the bridge and it also beat most locations in Corpus Christi. The pub fair style food is also good.
The band tonight was amazing. The owners were bar tending tonight, really great people. I'm so glad we got to stop in tonight. We wish we could have stayed longer solely for the atmosphere of Hook & Ladder. The history of the building is quite intriguing. If we lived closer, we would frequent. Thank you for the hospitality.
Really nice place, and the beer selection was really good. Service was great and fast. Lots of seating. Even though they do not have their own brews yet, it is definitely worth the stop.
