Shrimp It Up - Bar & Grill

Our first time here and not very impressed. Saw good reviews and decided to give it a try. We ordered the fish and shrimp baskets. The shrimp was stringy and not fresh which is very sad because of how close we are to the ocean. Had to get up several times for drink refills. Not a good set up for what I paid to eat here, tip expected with no service. Our kids ordered chicken strips which we were told after the fact that they were out of stock. 2nd option corn dogs! They came still frozen in the middle. After waiting an excessive amount of time new corn dogs were made but one of them was dropped by staff on the way out. Had to wait again. By the time my kids got their food the rest of the group was ready to go. I came at lunch time, so maybe we just came at a bad time. It felt slow with very few other tables. I figured they’d be able to get it right?

We are the fried shrimp, and grilled fish and shrimp. The shrimp was good, but nothing special. However, the grilled fish and shrimp were very good. We didn't get there until nearly 9 pm. The place was packed, and more people were coming thru the door. The staff was very nice, and helpful. You should give it a try!

I bought 10 lbs of crawfish ALL OF IT WAS TRASH (cooked too long) . I hate writing a review like this but the cook needs to be trained properly

Definitely has improved on their food!
I went almost every night 8-9 months ago for bingo (came down from georgetown to visit family) and the food was just ok. I have come back down for mothers day/memorial day and have tried it twice this time around and was so pleased with both my meals!

well, Kenny and I just had brat on a bun with German potatoes and beans. Brat had grilled onions and mushrooms on it OMG Wednesday special y'all get in there and get it cuz it is amazing off the chart good

I’ve been in there a few times and the owner is wasted!!! How can you run a restaurant like that???

Visiting the area and have tried several bigger restaurants. This was the best food. I had grilled fish sandwich with sweet fries and husband had grilled shrimp basket. So glad we found it before we had to leave. 5 out of 5 stars. Sometimes looks are deceiving, check it out.

It's a dive bar with a somewhat pricey menu.
