Disappointed. Seems like a nice place, lots of potential. Maybe it was just an off day? Service was fine. Food seemed overcooked. Crabcake was actually burnt on both sides. - but they still served it?! Had the stuffed, grilled fish with sweet potato fries. Fries were good. Fish was not the best. Sweet tea was pretty decent for Texas. (Tennessee friends may not approve!) Had mild intestinal distress the rest of the day.
Always great service and food! Tonight we had the calamari and it was great. Also tried the bang bang shrimp appetizer and it had a delicious kick! They have frozen margaritas and on the rocks. Burgers are huge and very tasty. I love their blackened Mahi and their caper sauce. Asparagus isn't on the menu but ask if they have any that day and if they do, I suggest you order it. Really nice atmosphere. We sat comfortably at the bar and were well taken care of! The Bloody Mary's were good and the bacon wrapped jalapeno appetizers were amazing! The sauces were house made and delicious. We ordered the stuffed shrimp and the fisherman's platter. Both were excellent choices. Everything was fresh and wonderfully prepared.
