I had a good time during both of my visits to the 1851. My first time was during Feb 2020, I had showed up pretty late on a Saturday night looking for a place to dance! I walked in and it wasn't as busy as I'd hoped. One of the few customers there explained that, since there hadn't been a drag show that night, the turnout was definitely affected. Despite the low turnout, the few people that did show up were dancing and having a good time so, the vibe was still there...
Been going here for years! And many more to come. From the owner to the staff and even the other people that come into the bar. They make it fun, safe and comfortable. Always my first suggestion to someone looking for an Lgbtq bar
My favorite bar to bring my besties and friends who have never seen a drag show . If you’re looking to make friends and meet new people in a no judgement and loving atmosphere this would be the place to come . Shout out to Dalton and Shane for always being amazing workers and their hospitality been unmatched .
