The Arlington Babes is too dark. I couldn't see in the restaurant for the first 10 min. Ordered the smoked roasted chicken and it was not good. Dry as a bone. The sides were ok. Service was ok. If you go, order the fried chicken. It looked much better.

I will always love this place, but I came in a couple Fridays ago and brought my aunt for the first time. We were super excited and bewildered there was no wait, figured hot temps and going back to school weekend had something to do with it. It’s never a good look to see a manager on the floor with his phone out, but to wait 10 minutes to be greeted and another 5 for drinks when we were sitting next to the kitchen where everyone had to walk passed 4 people with nothing on their table was a little disappointing. The server was training a new hire and we still had to ask what drinks were available after stating it was her first time. And that’s the first time we’ve been back since the prices went up so we’ll try again on a week night.

We explained that we had a food allergy in our to go order and exactly what we could eat, and they *still* packed my partner's food in with mine. You can't just use the same to go box container for two orders of food when someone explains to you they have a food allergy, you can make someone very ill.

We normally do pick up from this place. Usually no issue. This last time I go to pick up and I’m told food will be ready 15-20 minutes. Get there 25 minutes after I place the order. Order isn’t ready. Fine whatever it happens. I wait another 20 minutes before we’re finally told that the order had a set time which I never did over the phone. 5 people at the front standing around and it took that long to communicate the mix up? The service has never been great prior to this mishap, so the only reason we’d come back is for the food. Service and atmosphere is not great.

We won’t be back. 1. We like dark meat chicken and are not fans of the dryer white meat of chicken breasts, but they will not allow you to order the dark meat of thighs and legs without also ordering the breast. 2. The menu is so limited to a point they don’t even have a menu. 3. They don’t serve alcohol of any kind. It’s just not for us.

I cannot tell you how extreme nice and good natured their manager is named jason.. Very down the earth, humble guy, just an overall wonderful person

Always come with time! It’s such à cool environment. The inside looks like the outside of à old western shopping center. The food is delicious with all you can eat sides for the whole family! Chicken tender baskets big enough for 2! Celebrated babes 27th here with the fam and we really enjoyed ourselves! Not cheap but worth it. Not fancy, casual setting.

First time there enjoyed my visit it was very reasonably priced the food is excellent and our waitress was very attentive.

Great restaurant and very unique. You can order from fried chicken, chicken fried steak, smoked chicken or Catfish. You pick one and they bring all the sides to you. I recommend the fried chicken and chicken fried steak. And to top it off order some banana pudding which is a local favorite.
