Service & food is good
This restaurant has become Annampuram, an authentic South Indian restaurant. I started coming to this location in 2012, back when it was called Beirut Café and served Lebanese cuisine. While the current Annampuram menu does have a short selection of Beirut Café favorites, the main focus of the restaurant has shifted to focus on Indian cuisine.
From the Indian side of the menu, I ordered chicken tikka masala, Gobi Manchurian, garlic naan, mango lassi and chai. The food was savory and flavorful. I could taste the love infused into each dish. The plating and presentation is homey, and it’s clear that someone who loves to cook these recipes was putting the meals together in the kitchen.
From the Lebanese side of the menu, I ordered the beloved falafel plate. While I was told that the Beirut Café recipes were used for the Lebanese dishes, the falafel didn’t quite measure up to what it used to be. But with the lively Indian music and the comforting Indian food, I didn’t mind.
While I will miss Beirut Café for serving the best Mediterranean food in the metroplex, I am glad that the building is occupied by another proprietor who clearly values delicious food. It was also great to see the expanded hours of the next evolution of this restaurant. Now open for Indian breakfast and open very late, it’s perfect for students at the neighboring UTA campus.
The food is very delicious. The service was amazing. The staff is very sweet. Definitely recommend.
The name and menu has changed. It’s primarily an Indian restaurant now but only a portion of the Lebanese food has been retained despite being assured over the phone that the full Beirut Rock menu was still available. The menu items that were retained have also been modified greatly from the original recipes. It was good but just different enough that I don’t intend on returning for Lebanese food again. I may return to try the Indian cuisine.
Gone, not sure why it’s still on Google maps? It’s an Indian place now
Well, gave it 3 stars ONLY because we drove 45 mins for Mediterranean food. Outside still says Beirut Rock, inside however is not. It’s now an Indian restaurant (smart move due to proximity to UTA), however very misleading. Food was great, service wonderful, it is BYOB, inside was just basic college type restaurant, very basic.
Doesn't Exist anymore.
Out of business.
Became a new place.
Food was ok like the old place was alot better food and service
I don’t understand how they putting name outside and when you order inside different name different menu just to get Uber eats orders. That was a great store. I don’t understand how the old orders except that.
Good luck getting your old customers back
Absolutely delicious food. Spice levels vary.
Friendly service.

AKA Annapurna is the best indian food I have had.
Amazing food! Very sweet people!
Please note this is now an Indian food restaurant that offers some of the old Beirut Rock Cafe menu items. The food was decent but this is definitely not the same restaurant I used to eat at, imo they should just focus on the Indian food. Felt like a bit of a bait and switch as we went in wanting lentil soup and falafel and couldn't get either dish anymore. Garlic naan was on point though!
Very friendly staff and high-quality food.
Went here with some friend/family thanksgiving night. Was treated so great & the food was delicious . Good for sharing cause of portion size
