Overall, it was much worse than any other time my family and I have been here. My family has been using Catfish Sam's as a place for events and holidays since nearly 1971. The Catfish was completely overcooked, the coleslaw was sour, the hushpuppies were burnt, and their group gratuity is 20% starting at 5 people rather than the industry standard of 6. I would not recommend going unless you want to wait more than 30 minutes for a table for 5 people.

Classic catfish house. Good hush puppies. The catfish itself was not as fresh as at some restaurants. Easy to get to on Division Street. Excellent home-town atmosphere.
Every thing was great had not been here in a while and especially not dine in had been getting food to go. Great experience as always. Usually get whole catfish but tried fillets for a change and they were good and fresh also. Rolls, hush puppies, pinto beans, tomato relish omg ? yummy
