Charleys Cheesesteaks

Tasted bland and ironically had a big piece of Styrofoam in my sandwich. After reading the other reviews I wish I had never tried this place

PLEASE BEWARE OF ROACHES!

After a good shopping experience we decided to grab a bite to go, as we are driving down the freeway we notice a little critter sitting in the player waiting for a bite to eat! We then call the store to make them aware where we were initially told that no refund would be available… That we could come in and exchange however, after contacting the manager, he proceeds to tell us if we sent him picture proof that he would be able to refund us. We got off the phone with him. Send picture proof he apologized and told us that if we sent him our card information with the expiration and CVV that he would be able to refund it I was not comfortable with that seeing as people still card information via the phone all the time and this was not a secure line and nothing has been done.

I saw the video on the lady who had a terrible experience at this location. She found a roach in her food, and when she brought it to the staff’s attention, they refused to issue a refund or take the situation seriously. That’s absolutely unacceptable and raises major concerns about cleanliness and food safety.

No customer should ever have to go through something like that, and it isn’t very pleasant that the restaurant didn’t handle it with professionalism or care. I truly hope management addresses this issue immediately.

As so it happens, we we to the Arlington mall for a movie albeit the movie we were seeking was not playing. So we did the next best thing to look for a place to chow down. We came upon the food court and with so many options we went to Charley's Philly Steak. A very kind gentleman Mr. Dennis, was passing out samples of the California Chicken sandwich and it was very delicious. But, our hearts was set on the actual philly cheese steak. Mr. Dennis was very welcoming and a very polite person and represented Charley's Philly Steak very well. Our cashier was Mr. Derek, who also was very polite, welcoming and represented Charley's Philly Steak very well. He was very attentive and appeared to like his job. The Cajun fries were crispy and seasoned just right and the steak sandwiches were superb and very delicious. It's employees like Mr. Dennis and Mr. Derek, that it worth the while to eat here.

In the past, they've made small mistakes with me, but today after taking too long and my having to leave due to needing to be at work at a certain time, they took care of my ticket and gave me no hassle when I returned to the line at lunch. I am grateful and admire that.

If anyone in management that bothers reading reviews in Charley's take one thing away from this very long review, the service/timing completely fails this Charley's. I ordered here really frequently in person, then switched to online pickup for convenience. They have only ever had my order ready TWICE when I walk up. I even place my order up to 15 minutes before I go on break to give them time because I am aware it doesn't take 30 seconds to make a philly like any other fast food. My biggest problem in this long review i write, is when ANYBODYYY makes an online order, you prioritize it, because they have already paid in advance for this service. By the time I had the order scheduled vs when I actually got it, it took 20 minutes to make my order I placed in advance. At the end of the day, it's just highly annoying because I only have an hour, and a quarter of it was used just standing. It's just ridiculous, definitely my last order I'll ever make at this location which is quite sad.

Recommended dishes: Old School Cheesesteak Boxed Meal

Wanted to try a cheese steak for the first time. Didn't live up to the hype IMO. 2 start rating because the cashier kept 82¢. It's pretty expensive to begin with, you don't have to keep my change. Won't give another shot over it.
