So I want to start by saying being young and having your first or second job will come with a lot of learning experiences and curves and I get that . With that being said learn to read the room . My sister and I drove from Houston to Arlington to visit family for the holidays . We order a two piece chicken (leg and breast) with Mac two piece chicken (leg and thigh) with okra a gizzard with corn and an apple pie . 3 large drinks . We pulled around to pay . We waited about 2-3 minutes & were then asked to pull up . No problem we then proceed to was it about another 10 minutes or so . We check over the food they're missing the okra and the mashed potatoes so after extra time to get the order right it's wrong . Fine we go inside to get the stuff my sister asks did you get your apple pie ? I didn't see it in the bag I went back in & ask the girl can I have one . She's adamant to the point of almost going back and forth with me that she put it in the bag . Girl it's a $1 pie and yall done already messed up my order & I've already been waiting just give me the dang pie . They gave my sister a leg and thigh after she requested a breast and thigh & we weren't even complaining about that . . I had to call my sister to prove to her we had looked & didn't see the pie . She then grabs the pie with an attitude and puts it on the counter & just walks off no I'm sorry for the confusion our apologies for messing up your order nothing . I get to the car my sister finds the pie & I just return the one she gave because I wasn't trying to get a free pie I just wanted the pie I paid for and multiple things were already missing I mean who wouldn't be frustrated if their food came out like that and man I would have paid for another pie if I wanted another pie . Going back and forth after yall already messed up and having an attitude with me is crazy . So we just got to our hotel .....guess what NO STRAWS ! Incredible . Just all around unprofessional . I was gonna give it a pass but once we got to the hotel & the straws were missing too after she was flippant absolutely not . Young teenager being a manager is a no go . Getting emotional and attitude over a $1 pie after already messing up someone’s order in multiple ways . Even if I was trying to get a pie which I was not why create a bigger problem when yall were in the wrong .

Finally walked up and asked for my food and they started getting my food ready. The employees just looked at me like I was an inconvenience and began talking about me in Spanish. Not what I'm used to at Chicken E.

This place is HORRIBLE!!! I think it changed ownership a year or so ago and the quality deminished rapidly since!!! I stopped patronizing once before and just thought I'd give it another try today...but ohhh noo!! Just wasted my money on a soggy greasy roll, cold uncrispy okra and cold gizzards that were no where close to the 9 piece order this place used to serve!!! NEVER AGAIN!!

The greed of chicken Express as a company is insurmountable, and it's finely demonstrated at this establishment. Not only have the chicken strips taken a decrease in size, but now they're inconsistent in size as well. Unfortunately I received more small pieces then large.
That's ok, at least they're sauces are good, is what I would say but it turns out they charge for sauces seeing how I wanted gravy with my order, regardless of me buying a 20pc chicken strips meal at over $40
Pushing past my disgust at the size disparity of my chicken strips, I quickly realize how soggy the strips feel. With many restaurants changing to lower quality oils, I could only imagine what corners chicken Express is cutting to make more profit.
Why are we the ones getting punished? As if rent, gas and groceries aren't bad enough, you decide to treat yourself with what you have left over. Something you don't get to do too often, but instead of a reprieve from cooking dinner, instead you get screwed over by a multi billion dollar company that doesn't care if you enjoy their food or if you're given decent service. Only profit matters to them.

I ordered through Uber Eats. I chose thigh but they gave me leg pieces instead. They didn’t follow any of the instructions that I gave. I asked for less ice for the drinks and some ketchup but didn’t get any. The drinks taste disgusting when it’s no longer cold so I think that is one of the reasons they gave cups full of ice. Never again!!!
