Man, the lady couldn't have been ruder. Everything that came out of her mouth sounded like she hated her life and was miserable. We waited at the mic for an easy 5 minutes after we pulled up. Which would have been fine except I was mid-order when she left and came back. Literally asked me to order, was ordering, she said "hang on" and left for 5 minutes.But we ended up getting extra chicken in our box so we just took that as a blessing and went on our way. Really hope they find some friendlier people and she finds some happiness here (or a job she enjoys)

This location gets 5 stars in all categories. This was the cleanest of any of the locations I've been to. The food was above average, however the staff was top tier. They looked to be understaffed, but they were such a good team. They worked together really well, helping each other to give customers a great experience. I watched them address every customer's request quickly and pleasantly. Keep up the good work.

You can read all this if u want but in a nutshell, i was ripped off by this establishment then blamed for their mistake and told that if i wanted to correct their mistake, i needed to drive up there and do it myself. What happened, you ask? Well, i ordered the 8 peice mixed with one side plus I added a family side of mashed potatoes and gravy. I decided to place this order online and have it delivered because it is cold and wet outside and I was trying to avoid dragging my child out in this weather. I paid over $47 to have 8 peices of chicken, rolls, and corn nuggets delivered because they forgot my mashed potatoes and gravy. I called and, at first, I was told I would need to come pick them up! Excuse me?! Let me get this straight, i paid for the meal, potatoes and all, paid for the delivery fee, which is a percentage based on the total price of the order, and on top of all that, I also tipped the delivery person a percentage that is also based on the total of the order, and now I still have to go all the way to chicken express and pick up part of said order?! How is this my fault? They packed the order and sealed it all up for Grubhub, it's no one's fault but theirs. Why is it I'm the one who has to correct or pay for their mistake? The whole reason I paid so much for this order was so that I would not have to leave the house. I explained that I was not going to pick them up and asked for someone to bring them to me or give me a refund. I spoke with Jalissa, the manager and,basically, I was told that since I ordered delivery, there is nothing they can do. I continued to question her about it and finally, she offered to "text the owner", Benjamin, to give him my number and he was supposed to call me back because he is supposedly the only one who has the ability to give me a refund for the potatoes. Since I was given no other choice, I agreed and gave her my number and asked her when I could expect a call back. She said it won't be long before he gets back to me because he checks his texts often throughout the evening. I spoke to Jalissa at 7:20pm. It is now 8:24 pm and neither Benjamin nor Jalissa have gotten back to me to follow up in any way. I am pretty upset, honestly, because I paid for a meal and didn't get what I paid for first off all, second of all, I was basically told too bad, so sad by management and now I'm being ignored. Very, very frustrating. I am extremely disappointed and will be following up myself because this is absolutely unacceptable! I'll change this review if I hear from the owner tonight. I mean really, HOW HARD IS IT TO GIVE A $5 REFUND! GIVE ME A FREAKING BREAK AND PUT A LITTLE EFFORT AND PRIDE INTO YOUR PLACE OF BUSINESS! 8:52pm, still no call, only crickets. 9:37 pm, still no call. It is now the next day at 1:32 pm and no one has contacted me and I'm pissed now. I see how they don't even care enough to read their own reviews, much less respond to them.

As I was felling a bit hungry due to fasting. I stop at my favorite chicken shop. This is my first visit at this location and my last one. The location looks pretty good.The service not so much.I asked for a 3 piece dark meat special, which is pieces of dark meat and a roll or biscuit for $4.I was told they don't have that. I stated they do, bc I ate it yesterday at a different location. They proceeded to tell me they don't have similar menu as other places.She asked me if i wanted a meal or the combo. Instated I wanted the 3 pices dark meat special. The cashier proceeded to charge me $7.29 for 3P and 1 roll.My inner Karen came out. I'm not proud of that, but I come to Chicken Express enough to know their menu.I left after telling the cashier I was going to another Chicken Express who knows what they are doing.I could hear her indignation as I left the building. Rad that as common gesture that some people do in the south.Now, here I sit, eating what I wanted and paying what I understand is a huge deal at Chicken Express I 6300 US-287 Frontage Rd in Arlington.The inner Betty White came out once I got that delicious chicken in my mouth.More than likely the store I'm eating belongs to the same franchise owner, yet I'm treated better here, and this store is not as "nice" as the other one.

I went here tonight after work through the Drive-through. The young lady taking the orders at 8:30PM was very rude. I asked when I pulled up to pay if I could please get ranch instead of gravy for the tenders, she looked at and me and said what did you say? I repeated the question she closed the window in my face with no reply & didn’t give me any ranch.
