Small lil restaurant type place, upon entry there are about 6 chairs. U order @ the plexi-glass window..Employees ALLLL very kind n helpful.. prices are amazing. Food is made fresh every order. Two meals under 25.00 with drinks. CHICKEN is amazing , yu heard me. BayBayy seasoned nice with fries, pickles n bread. Definitely won't be disappointed.. Thank you LFC

First time visit and was pleasantly surprised. The place here on Collin street just opened so the wait was expected. I tried just a little of a few different things. The chicken was so crispy and flavorful as were the gizzards. My son tried the pint of gumbo and said it was really good. I loved the roll and the fries were plentiful. The only negative was I didn’t get my chicken spring roll…Great experience overall and I will be back to try more!

If I could leave 0 stars I would . This is kind of insulting to a person that’s ACTUALLY FROM LOUISIANA !!!! I ordered the 2 piece fish and chicken and this is what my door dasher picked up. FOOD WAS COMPLETELY RAW INSIDE AND OUT ! I’ve missed work because I’ve been sick. WILL NEVER COME BACK AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TOO NO ONE !

They were so sweetnevenngavevme free samples, food reminded of the spot back home in Houston. Louisiana fried chicken is finally in Arlington.

D Smith Restaurant never disappoints! The food is always fresh, hot, and cooked to perfection. You can tell the cook puts a lot of care and effort into every dish it truly shows through the flavor and quality.
The wings are a must try! They're seasoned perfectly and cooked just right crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. I’m usually not a big fan of catfish because of the strong, fishy taste, but D Smith's catfish is different. It’s well-seasoned, mild, and actually really good!
This place is definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for delicious, home cooked food made with passion.

Why is it that when called order in ahead of time we still have wait? They don't start your order until you arrive & the fish is always burned. This used to be a great place for fish & chicken ... Went downhill fast.

Me and my sister came to this restaurant. It's SO GOOD the fish is batter with corn meal it's all cooked made TO ORDER YES!! Chicken is like your granny made it nice and season and flaky. AND they not stingy with the fries.

The customer service was excellent. We were greeted, and not rushed. The bag had plenty of condiments. AND AGAIN ITS ALL FRESH AND HOT MADE TO ORDER. Go get your hot plate.

The food was so good, we forgot to take pictures. My friends and I ordered fried fish, loaded fries, and regular fried chicken wings and hot lemon pepper chicken wings. Everything was fresh, fried perfectly, and well seasoned!

Ordered on Uber eats thought the mac and cheese steak and shrimp was going to go hard. The Mac taste like dish soap and the steak was dry. Fish was Very good. So was the peach cobbler man the Oreos fried was good lol... Hush puppies was good. Fries was great. But that Mac wasn't what I fantasied about. Could have just had a bad day. Idk... But definitely go try it
