I spent $80 on food: two oxtail plates and a baked chicken plate. Unfortunately, the oxtails were tough, making it hard to enjoy them. I ended up only eating the rice and gravy, feeling disappointed and like I wasted money. Considering how expensive oxtails are, the cook should make sure the meat is tender! Such a waste of money!!!!

Ordered a grilled shrimp basket. The taste of the shrimp was off. After closer examination it smelt spoiled. Really hope they start checking the quality of the food before drenching it in seasoning. Highly disappointed!

Walked in on Friday, 04/12. Spoke twice to the young lady at the register on the side for drinks that hat 2 braids in her hair. After she didn't speak another kind very professional young took over, spoke and asked, what can she help us with. We told her. Everything was good after that bc I was about to walk out of that black owned drink shop. I don't mind supporting us but with someone at the register acting like it killed her to be at work and no customer service. I wanted to walk right back out the door until the other young lady stepped in. I will give 5* the drinks were BOOM! Also got an oxtail plate that was DELICIOUSLY GOOD!

Only came for the daiquiris with my first and only experience being a little confusing and rude. Walking up to the daiquiri station one of the employees were counting the till which I had the patience for but not greeting or even looking up at the customer to let them know it'll be a second is one thing. When it came to ordering AT the daiquiri station I asked for the smallest size($7) to which she responded "a small what"....like what else would I be talking about, so I responded with "a small daiquiri" with the flavors I wanted and another lady came over to pour the drink.1- if you weren't planning on fulfilling my order then why even take it.2-let the customer/s know that it'll be a second.3-outstanding first impressionsI'm unsure of how new the restaurant is based on the decorations but the other employees on the food side had an amazing and fun vibe/chemistry
