I'm gonna miss karaoke nights at Diamond Jim's, since the owner passed, and the bar permanently closed I was there, on Monday, earlier this month, and Carl was having a great time. He was talking to people, and was dancing, as we sang karaoke. Then Tuesday, a friend informed me that the person, who came to open the bar, found Carl dead, in his office. It was such a shock, since nobody saw it coming.
Visiting Diamond Jim’s several times during my last trip to Dallas. Played some darts, pool, and even jumped in on a Texas Hold’em tournament with a bunch of locals.
The pool tables had great felt and bumpers, and the house cues were actually straight!
The drinks were ridiculously cheap, and the staff were all so friendly. In my opinion, it’s the perfect casual neighborhood bar!

started coming here with my other half and come to find out my older sister and brother in law have been here too lol, so last year for my bday we went and took my hot and single mama and she had a blast (she's not into bars mind you lol) so we went last night cause she has been dying to go again for a "girls night" so I picked up my older sister and her n I and mama went and chilled and watched karaoke (my big sister needs to sing!!!!!) and we had a fun time tucked...
