This was my first time at El Viejon and all I can say is it was an awesome experience. The seafood was delicious and fresh. The staff was great and the waiter was very attentive. I'm from Houston but I will definitely go there again if I find myself in Arlington.

I had my first visit to El Viejón Seafood Restaurant, and I was beyond impressed! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was so inviting, and we were greeted by a friendly host. Our server made the experience even more enjoyable with their fun and lively energy.
I started with a huge Michelada, which was incredibly refreshing. For the main dishes, I tried the Tacos El Viejón—three tacos on corn tortillas with a cheese crust, filled with octopus, shrimp, and scallops cooked in butter and arbol peppers. The flavor was so authentic and delicious! I also had the Huachinango (deep-fried whole red snapper), which was cooked to perfection.
Everything tasted amazing, and I strongly recommend this seafood restaurant to anyone looking for authentic flavors and a memorable dining experience. It’s definitely worth a visit!
