As mentioned before by many people the honey chicken was amazing Mac greeted us at the door and was very attentive to making sure that we were taking care of my waitress was below average definitely needs more training her name begin with a k totally forgot her name but she should be trained properly the collard greens were amazing the yams were amazing macaroni and cheese mid I would definitely give this place another shot because of Mac and because of the honey chicken and collard greens

The staff was pleasant and the saxophonist was jammin BUT that does not go far enough when the point of the visit is Food. My family came for a reservation at 1:30. Once we were seated we ordered drinks (water and tea). After the water arrived we quickly ordered food. 2 kids plates 1 veggie plate 1 pasta dish The server mentioned that she was literally putting the order in to the kitchen in real-time as she was taking the order. The server came back and said they were out of fries for the children so I made an alternate selection for kids sides. After about 20+ min the server mentioned Tea?.. So we informed her that it was never received. We asked several times for a high chair but were informed that they only have 1 and it was in use. We also decided to order a Long Island. After about an hour we noticed that not One but Two tables beside and behind us which had Arrived 15-20 min+ after us And ordered after us had received their food. I got up at 3pm to make my exit with hungry and restless children with no food. On top of that I was shocked that we were still charged $18 for a tea and a cocktail. You would think they would have shown a level of consideration to comp that with respect to such an unpleasant experience

If you've been pondering, and wondering- Get your keys and get in the car- and get there! The Honey Fried Chicken- is fried to perfection!The Oxtails and Fried fish are heavenly! Oh wait can I just talk about the honey cornbread--- IT IS DIVINE- it JUST MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH! OMG! If you haven’t been here you are missing out! I had the oxtails and they fell off the bone with just enough seasoning and not a lot of salt. The baked Mac was to die for and the collard greens tasted like your grandmama made em.Customer service and vibe was also top tier!

We celebrated a birthday there and had A GREAT time! From the warm welcome to the waitress to the food to the DJ and the crowd, everything was exciting! We had the honey chicken, catfish, Alfredo stuffed turkey leg, and the vegan pasta, and everything was flavorful and pleasing to the palate. The music really kept the vibe going! It felt like a family reunion ☺

We searched on the web for a place to eat during our visit in Dallas. We called Ella B's to see if we needed a reservation and spoke with Nikki! She was so accommodating ,we explained we were from Reno,NV, didn't know the area and were about 20 miles away.She said no problem for two i"ll save a table come on over.Upon arrival we were greeted by a gentleman and heard someone as ask if we were the couple by name. She came right away seated us and was also our server! She was excellent so attentive and helpful with advice. Because there was an event going on in the stadium that would vie for parking and charge their customers they were closing a little early so she advised what items they were out of since we came in about 1 1/2 hrs before closing. It didn't really deter our choices since there was a number of other items available. We had pork chops, Mac-n-cheese, yams, cornbread, chicken & pasta and cabbage! Can I tell you this is the way I would cook it if I cook it at home! It was seasoned flavorfully, cooked to perfection and the serving sizes were massive! We really could have shared with leftovers. The ambiance was real nice the offered a jazz saxophonist which completed the entire experience! Thank you Nikki and Ella B's for a great soul-food culinary experience! Wow, I am blown away by the amazing atmosphere and delicious food! It's an experience that you simply cannot miss out on.
So, my husband and I went to Ella B's on Saturday night and had an amazing time. I we both ordered the Vegan Pasta with shrimp, and it was amazing. So much so that I had to get thendish again on Sunday as a pick-up order, but it was so spicy that I couldn't eat it. Saturday, it was perfect, Sunday, too much red pepper flakes, it ruined the meal for me.Parking: The parking socks, they need a building that's not part of a strip mall.

This place is a vibe! The food is dam good and the customer service the staff exude is chef's kiss. The lamb chops were absolutely delicious. The fried chicken seafood pasta and oxtails are full of flavor and some of the best I've had.

So me and my husband was taking a ride out on the town Saturday evening. So we had a restaurant we schedule to go to but the line was way to long to be serviced so we left there. We stumbled across Ella B and decided to go in. So when we step in the restaurant door the guy quickly greeted us asking did we have reservation we said no we didn't. So he said no worries I can seat y'all anyway. So we sat at the table the waitress came up introduced herself brought us water and everything as we was looking over the menu. So the guy who greeted us at the door came back to our table bout 15min later saying that a band was performing and we needed to pay $10 each if we wanted to stay in other words we was not looking for entertainment we was just trying to eat out somewhere. So with that being said that was not business at all it was very unprofessional it was embarrassment for us to have to Walk out after being seated because the guy failed his job when taking customer in the door. I would go back there again but I just want others to know how experience was. The place was a nice place very beautiful but this was a deal breaker because we could have went somewhere else we was just trying to eat. But shame on how we was treated. black owned business we got to do better
