I’ve tried so hard with this location. Like so many times, I’ve ended up here. I got a strawberry swirl and got a cream swirl with a hint of strawberry. It happens every single time. I even love cream but golly geez I don’t want to drink it. I especially strongly dislike the way one guy makes it. I’m mad every time I leave. Idk maybe it’s just this location.
Both times i’ve gone, I’ve been told they are sold out of boba … The boba store is sold out of boba ?? They had an attitude and were rude about it, workers were giggling through the mic, I believe they were just discriminating, didn’t want to take my order and told me they didn’t have boba so they didn’t have to make my order. I use to love coming here every day after school and with family!
Ingredients may need to be measured and weighted more due to cookies not tasting the same in all shakes.
My wife and I stopped in for a mochidonut and boba. The donut was great but the boba tea was underwhelming. The classic milk tea tasted like chocolate milk while the Thai milk tea was bland. The cashier was not welcoming and seemed annoyed we were there. She took out order and went back on her phone after she gave us our drinks. Thought the place would be better with 4.6 stars and good reviews but as kids say, “it’s mid”.
Was really nice and patient with us as it was our first time. Definitely will be coming back

Im sorry- how does asking why we are getting charged extra for an item clearly marked as included on the menu constitute verbal harassment? And just so you know you have both drinks listed at the same price on the menu for with and without boba- so it is on you and your employees to fix the confusion and charge the advertised price- not make up excuses for an up-charge.

Not gonna lie- the name drew me in and I had no idea what to expect. As, I walked in, I noticed bobo tea and donuts on the sign. I ordered a mocha frappe with coffee bobo. The frappe was amazing but the bobo (not so sure). They said these particular ones were like crystals in your mouth soaked in coffee. I envisioned this burst of espresso lol. It was more like a blob of hard jello chunks with little to no flavor. I’m not sure if they filled half the cup with them but that’s all I could get out the straw. Definitely a texture thing (for those of you)..when you know you know.
However, the donut was divine. It’s a state fair funnel cake. Highly recommend-

Love the decor, positive vibes, and colors while walking in! Staff was super friendly and had great recommendations for a first timer!
I opted for the Vietnamese coffee with boboa and it was literally perfect! I topped it off with a fruity pebbles donut... sounds like a weird combo- but it was a fun taste blend and sweet ratio. The cereal crunch on the outside was a great texture with the mochi! I just came back from Japan, and these donuts were an excellent tasty rendition.
Lots of flavor combinations are available and I will definitely be back for another round.

Colorful atmosphere and a variety of drink options. Staff member I encountered wasn’t welcoming. However, I enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee frappe and chocolate confetti mochi donut.

I stopped by Fat Straws for Yelp Elite week. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by a friendly guy behind the counter. Told him my name and asked for some recommendations. He was super helpful and really nice.
He recommended the iced caramel latte and the strawberry mochi donut. I added boba to my latte cause I love bobas. Honestly, I did not care for the latte. The boba was a little over cooked also. The strawberry mochi donut on the other hand was insanely good. I had mochi donuts before but never cared for them. Here at Fat Straws, their mochi donut was made perfectly. The chew on it was amazing and the strawberry flavor compliment it really well.
I will definitely be coming back for more mochi donuts!

Love this place!! Haha I never tire of their nice, chewy, yummy, soft, flavorful mochi donuts.
They're the best l've ever had. I tried the passionfruit one for the first time and it was delish. Wish they had their Matcha donut. Still happy with my choices. Haha already ate 4.
They have so many great flavors and it changes regularly, so there’s always one or so that I have to try.
Strawberry and Cookies & Cream are also my faves.
And don’t let me forget their boba!! Haha it’s yummy too! I’ve only had a few flavors so far, but they were all great!!

Quick service, friendly employees! My daughter and I go through their drive thru every other month or so for a sweet treat after school.
The mango swirl is awesome with strawberry popping boba added, and we usually get the churro mochi donut which is great! Tried the fruity pebbles donut today and found it too sweet. Will stick with the churro from now on ?
Kid-friendliness: My three year old loves this place!

Always quick and friendly service! I've tried every boba place in Arlington and this is the best I've found. Lots of places have boba that is not very sweet or too chewy. Fat Straw's is perfect! Their milk teas or Vietnamese coffee are all delicious.
