I made an order online and picked it up, inside was decent, hardly any interaction from the workers. The gumbo smelt burnt, so they definitely burnt the roux, the fries were stale, the hush puppies were poorly made no seasoning and no real outside crunch, the catfish was alright with hot sauce, the Nashville chicken sandwich is only exactly that when you add the sauce on it. These are my reviews and opinions and my older adult children’s as well. I ask if there was plastic ware in the bag they said it was but it was not and they also forgot a drink I had with the kids meal. It definitely was not worth the money or experience. Hope everyone has a better experience than we did.

Saturday lunch around 11:30am, not a line but they did get a bit busier. I've been here a few times & I'm surprised it wasn't as busy for a weekend.

It's really just great food, nothing fancy but delicious. I had the lobster roll, I came with coleslaw & fries. I'm not a coleslaw person but it was pretty good. The fries were perfect & they have that good ranch. The lobster roll itself was on Texas toast, buttery toasted goodness with meaty lobster. I'm definitely going to have to go back for this sometime soon, it was $20 for my meal. My friend had chicken strips, no complaints there & we shared a basket of fried pickles.

Clean restaurant, fast service, tasty food, & friendly staff. Prices are fair, no concerns with menu options for everyone. Fun, chill place with a lot of fishing decor & photos. There's a reason why this place has been here for so long, great lunch stop!

Not sure why anyone would say the Poe boy's are bad. I didnt have a problem with them. No its not NOLA poe boy's but this is Texas, and this place is awesome for Texas Cajun food.

While running an errand in Arlington, noticed the Flying Fish. It was around 5ish on a weekday, and was not busy at all. Parking in the back of restaurant was simple. You order at register, and you can actually view your meal being prepared fresh. We ordered the fish/shrimp combo, fried okra, hushpuppies; pretty tasty. I will ask when we return if we can have fish a tad more seasoned, but still tasty. A little on the small side with pieces though. Hushpuppies are delish. Plenty of seating and clean atmosphere! Self serve drinks. La. hot sauce is a plus! Thank you Maura & Victor for your great service level!!
