This place serves real catfish!!! All the other places like Crispy's, Lucy's, Lisa's, and any other fast food joint that says they're selling catfish is a lie!! I need you people to come here or pappadeaux's or any established restaurant. But for an inexpensive quick fix this is definitely the place and the food melts in your mouth. I haven't been in a long time, but I remember why I came The first time. It's hard to get good quality food or even get a cook that cares enough about what he cooks and making a name for himself bc No one one cares like this anymore 🥺😠 Furthermore , lying about selling catfish should be against the law, but if you don't know what you're eating that's your fault completely... And some of these poor souls think they know what they're eating and they have no freaking idea that they're eating tilapia white fish or whatever kind of fish they throw at you and tell you that is catfish and it's not 😕🤦 That's all I have to say. Usually I'll take a photo to share, but the food was so good I forgot lol

Visited on a Saturday afternoon, no crowds and food was prompt. The catfish is white fish, it at least did have some flavor, my companion ordered the shrimp po'boy and stated that is appeared to be shrimp cut up and mixed w/ the lobster.

My wife and I have been going here once a month for years. She usually gets the fried shrimp and I get a grilled fish, recently mostly the salmon. Excellent sides especially grilled veggies and their spinach. Wish they still had their fried jalapeños. Also cold beer in frosted mugs. Reasonable prices, great food, funky talking bass New Orleans vibe, and great staff. Coupons available from the usual sources.
