I mostly went for the Mudbugs, which were delicious. On my third trip we tried multiple dishes and all shared. I was not overly impressed and feel it was standard fare. However, all the staff is very friendly and helpful. We usually have beer but this time we had Margaritas as well. They were so salty we really couldn’t drink them, so I added beer to mine and made a CoronaRita.

My husband and I have been going to Flying Fish for years. It's a walk up, order, then sit down venue. You can sit inside or on the patio. The food always tastes great and you get service with a smile. Funky, old singing fishes cover one wall and guests fishing pictures on other walls. The music is usually Louisiana bluesy, jazz. It is a very comfortable place to have a nice meal. I especially love the catfish tacos and the grits and gumbo. Be sure to join the grub hub for a nice discount each month.

Food it's overpriced and is nothing to rave about. Service is non existent as we were new and the cashier lack the skills to help and suggest. Ambiance is the best with a nice outdoor area and chill.

Pricey food, won't be back. You'll walk-in, stand in front of the register, and no one will actually great you, "Hello?"Wish the coleslaw came with baskets instead of being extra... maybe cater to your customers.Margaritas are acidic and not enjoyable, ask for easy ice otherwise thats all you'll get.:/03.27None of the staff are friendly, the food is very bland, the hushpuppies are tiny, don't get the 1lb of catfish as its mostly bones uoull have to avoid choking on and the bathrooms stinkWon't ever go back or recommend

Food is fresh and the kitchen is easily seen, the energy coming from it and the smells of the food draw you in. The bayou music playing and the food cooking are the perfect mixture for an excellent meal experience.Vegetarian options: The spinach is what I always order when choosing the vegetable plate. Steamed with garlic and served hot. Beans are delicious as well, the cilantro makes this dish. The corn is served whole and buttery and doesn't taste as if sat in water, tastes freshly cooked. Tried the green beans, not something I will order a second time.Parking: Picnic tables are also outside and 2 indoor dining rooms.Kid-friendliness: Kids will be too busy eating to be thinking of doing anything else.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp entrance if needed.

Food was just okay, I’ve had better at home or other restaurants that offer the same options but my Husband wanted to try it! If you get any of the traditional Cajun dishes and have never had it, you wouldn’t be too impressed. But if you know your stuff, the gumbo was disappointing. Place was clean and the location was cool being downtown and all. Try some place different if you want flavorful seafood. It’s pretty basic.

I got the tilapia tacos, I think it was really good. The tacos are crunchy, if they were soft tacos it would be a 5/5
