Went today for Valentines Day for lunch. We had to pay dinner price because all they offered. The instructions confusing. Poor experience and paid $65 for two people.
The manger Eddie was an amazing leader to his employees, Trey our server for the night did an excellent work (while still in training ) we enjoyed it very well they were very patient with us and every request we made for our food was excellently received in a timely manner and great attitude!
We used to go the Carrollton location for a year and now love coming to this location this was our second time visiting and I must say this was definitely the best visit I’ve had since going to any location of the establishment. Well done !!!

Went there for lunch at 11am but due to Veterans Day all prices are dinner prices. No one noticed us coming in the door until we kept poking our heads in behind the tower/beam several times after 5-10 minutes we were seated. There were probably 3 tables being served and 3-4 servers but service was extremely slow. The 1 food preparer behind the counter had the entire stand full of food ready to be served but service was extremely slow. First round of food came out in a timely manner. By the time we were ready to order our second round…service was extremely slow and we had 10 minutes of dead air in eating because the food took so long to be served. The atmosphere felt cluttered and the beams at the entrance block the staff’s view when a customer enters. Honestly, I prefer the GEN in Carrollton much more speaking of service, atmosphere and hospitality.

Gen BBQ Arlington, TX, served dishes that were either bland or overwhelmingly sweet, it's an all you can eat restaurant, I have to eat more when I got home because there is enough sugar in their food for a year for me. It raising concerns for individuals with diabetes.
Deceptive pricing, subpar management-level service, and unhealthy options, I recommend avoiding this location.

The food was great, the service was terrible. We got there and waited at least 5 minutes to be acknowledged. There were 3 employees at the booth messing with plates and left as we stood there. One of them I'm pretty sure was the manager.
The food was pretty good. But they would take several plates with food still on it and leave before we could say anything. I had to ask multiple times for extra napkins

So my friends and i came here on complete accident thinking we were going to the one in carollton but we decided we’re half way to arlington so why not. but upon arrival we’re seated pretty quick , maybe 5 minute wait? we sit down and our waiter gets to us and right off the bat she’s super sweet and attentive! towards the end of our dining experience we tell her she did an amazing job and apologize to her if we were being needy ?. my friends tell her it was my birthday and so she and other waiters came out singing happy birthday! truly was an amazing night after a stressful week at work and that’s all thanks to Janie!!! THANK YOU JANIE <3 WE LOVED YOUR SERVICE SO MUCH

Fantastic experience! This was my first time at GEN Korean BBQ House, and I was impressed by the restaurant’s cleanliness and the excellent customer service. Eddy provided outstanding service, and I later found out he’s the manager. The entire staff made sure my friend and I had everything we needed throughout our visit. I’ll definitely be coming back—it’s worth every bit of the price and time. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Came here for dinner. Honestly it's just okay. We decided to go with the premium dinner for the extra $20 per person. After being sat down it seemed forever before we had someone come check on us. Looked like alot of staff just walking around and not paying much attention. Our food took awhile to come out as well. Flavor and freshness failed to measure up to Gen's competition.

Horrible service. Wasn’t provided a receipt or info on price. Paid $120 for three plates of meat. Never got any of the side dishes we requested for. Waiter was basically a teenager who didn’t speak English. Avoid this place.

We came for lunch in Mountain View, Ca and they said today being Halloween they had to charge us dinner prices ($30 per person) it’s not the price that annoys me gen Korean bbq! It’s the principle of the matter! Stop taking advantage of your customers! Stop lying to us! 10/31/2024
My coworkers and I loved it. The atmosphere was clean and fun with the blue lighting. We ordered a lot. I wish I could remember it all. It was all delicious! Already planning the next visit!

Don't come, I'll tell you briefly what happened, we ended up sitting at a table of 4 separated very far from the birthday girl because they were not able to join the tables so we were never sharing at the birthday girl's table of 10 people, we sat in A table apart from 4 people they never brought me the sticks to eat I asked for it 4 times they never brought me my drink, the service was terrible, I was eating with my hands so as not to argue and avoid fighting, when they finally managed to get me the napkin they brought me 2 !!! They never explained to us how to cook the food, every time they brought us something they left very quickly, we had an accumulation of dishes that was not comfortable at all, the experience regarding food when you cook yourself should be explained, since it is a new kitchen and each cut is different from the other, we invented it by cooking it the best we thought and today, a day later, we found ourselves with indigestion, in the end I asked for the bill and a guy came with a screen telling us the amount, I think this was the worst! !!! He forced us to leave 18% for being at a birthday, when we had never been at the large table and they were never well served, he literally forced us, I understand that when there are more than 5 people in any restaurant the percentage should be included, but in Our account on the screen that was shown to us showed that we could leave whatever tip we wanted, because as I repeat we were far from the birthday girl so they can't charge us the same as the other table, I wanted to leave only $5 for such bad service and the man He said I will charge the rest to your card when I had already paid and signed and I told him why were we far away? And he kept insisting that he wouldn't let us leave without leaving %18. It was the only time the waiter spent more than 10 seconds at our table. Very bad, rightly it has 3 stars. Very bad experience, our entrance had hair and we could never complain because they never came
