Gilbertos is the definition of a hidden gem in Arlington. It looks like a little hole-in-the-wall spot, but don’t let that fool you — this place is clean clean. That was the first thing I noticed, and it makes a huge difference.
The food is just as impressive. My sandwich was excellent — meat seasoned to perfection, tender, and full of flavor. They give you the full spread too: salad, pico, beans, and sides. The fries came plain, but that’s an easy fix with a little salt. The menudo was also on point — it was being devoured at our table, so that tells you enough.
Even with a crowd, the service was fast. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes, hot and fresh.
Bottom line: Gilbertos is clean, quick, and full of flavor. Definitely a city gem in Arlington worth checking out. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My camera did NOT eat first!! Huge burritos, great birria tacos & the flavor on everything was on point. Clean eating spaces, clean bathrooms and the lady working the front very welcoming and nice! We are from Odessa texas and will be coming to eat here everytime we come to Arlington!

I had the el patron burrito here and it was absolutely fantastic—huge, packed with flavor, and so delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The service was top-notch as well; friendly and attentive. I ordered the Patron burrito and my friend (who I took for the first time) ordered the California burger and carne asada tacos. When I tell you.. it was so good it was a little pricey but 100% worth the value for what you’re getting. The patron burrito was I believe 14.99 but it was absolutely massive. Would recommend
