Wanted to try something new and landed on this place. The ambiance was very welcoming and cozy. When the food came I was wondering if the nachos would be good based off appearance but they were perfectly stacked. My entree was carne asada rice and beans. The meat and rice was cooked very well although the beans were a little loose. I was also disappointed because I ordered a dirty Shirley temple and she said no we don’t do that and brought me a regular one. No alternate option was offered she just brought me the soda. A dirty Shirley is literally a normal Shirley temple with a shot of clear. How can you not do that? All in all I was pleased with everything else.

I loved the cheese Papusas with the cabbage, which is a bit too spicy for me.the fried bananas are a fave. I should have gotten the four, but the difference is that the six comes with the black beans. I highly recommend Gloria's.

I’ve always enjoyed the food and service at Gloria’s — it's consistently good when I dine in. However, I recently ordered takeout and was really disappointed with what I received. I got the steak fajitas, and while the flavor was still there, the portion was completely off.

For $20, I expected a balanced meal. Instead, I got what felt like an entire bed of grilled onions, with just FOUR thin strips of steak and maybe three pieces of bell pepper. It was more like an entrée of onions than steak fajitas. Honestly, if I had been dining in, I know this wouldn’t have been the portion served.

Takeout should reflect the same quality and value as dine-in service. It’s frustrating to feel short-changed, especially when prices aren’t cheap. If you're ordering to go, definitely check your plate before leaving. This was unacceptable.

One of the best times I had. This was my first time eating lunch there. I had one of best and nicest waitress named Glenda. She was so helpful and patient was elderly mom.

I would eat the carne asada every single day if I could. My mom also enjoyed the tropical salad. We ate here twice during one week during our visit to Dallas and Houston, TX.

Good and flavorful food. It is a chain but seems quality. The dining space is loud and the tables are all packed in a large rectangular room. It is unique to have both beans and salsa with chips. Service was not great.

First off, let me start by saying my food and drink was 10/10. The service not so great from the bar, I sat down and there were at least 3 people behind the bar (not a full bar at all) and no one acknowledged me for at least 6-8 minutes even after eye contact was made. Once I was finally greeted, it was not warm or at all welcoming. I placed my order and as I waited I begin to pay attention to others approach the bar and the
Urgency and enthusiasm to serve them. Once my food came out by a runner the staff behind the bar didn’t bother to follow up to ensure that my meal was good. Disappointed at this point I requested Togo boxes and was only given one small box despite the massive amount of food on the table. After that, there was no further acknowledgement or concern from the bar staff. I asked for an additional box and container for my wet items and had to wait another 10 minutes or so to receive them.

Thank you Mr Omero for your hospitality.
Your suggestion on carne asada was perfect.
Your cheese enchiladas with meat sauce was dynamite.
