What a great place, the cocktails are fantastic and you can order food from the bar too. Service is great and it’s just a classic spot. Staff is the best. Enjoy!

I really love this place! Unfortunately today I had the worst experience, my friends and I usually enjoy visiting once a week, we know most of the bartenders and they are pretty cool. But today my friend and I order our first round and I paid for it, I didn’t tip the bartender because we always like to tip at the end, we haven’t had any problem because of this, however this time was different, my friend started a tab and asked for some coins to use at the pool table, but right after receiving them the bartender named John told us that if we weren’t planning to tip him for the drinks, he was not going to make any more cocktails for us. He said this with a very rude attitude. Obviously, we were shocked after hearing such a thing, and we didn’t know what to do but leave. We really enjoy this place a lot, and I hope this feedback helps ensure that every customer is treated with respect regardless of when or how they are going to leave a tip.

Loved this place. Sam is an excellent bartender and she makes outstanding drinks, and has great recommendations. If we didn’t live so far away we would definitely be regulars.

This is my favorite place to get a drink and have fun! me and my friends come very often since 4 years ago, we know most of the bartenders and they are pretty cool with us, BUT today we had the worst experience with the bartender that was on shift(09/20/2025 around 2:00 pm) he was very rude since we arrived, my friend paid the first round of drinks and he didn’t leave a tip because we always leaved at the end, we were planning to play some pool and eventually order more drinks, but before going upstairs, he told us with a very rude attitude that if we’re not going to tip him he wasn’t going to make anymore drinks to us because the ones we ordered “was the HARDEST drink he ever made” we got shocked because we thought he was playing about it but he was very serious about it, we asked for his name but honestly we were very shocked and mad we couldn’t remember it, he was skinny with glasses and short curly hair, this is our favorite bar in all the DFW area, at least we visit the bar once a week, because we really love this place, but honestly we’ve never expected to have such a bad treatment, we’re hoping to never have an experience like this in such an amazing place like hooligans.

Good music and the host of the music guessing was funny and interactive. We ordered a pizza which did take a minute but we didn’t care, had a really good stout beer and sang along to all the classics. Bartender was funny and inter active with us too. Going back to sing some more lol
Very awkward interaction. Was ready to finish drink and leave. Bar tender pulled up seat across from and told us life story. And things I never needed to know. I tried to change subject and go back to talking to others with me and he would just take back over with another story. My mom was trying to be nice. I told her that her drink should have been free since she was his therapist for last hour.

This has become my go-to place for afterwork happy hours with the team. Good beer selection, high availability of seating, pool/darts/golden tee to pass some time, all add up to a good spot to unwind over a drink. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and accomodating. Food come from J Gilligans, so be sure to get your order in on the early side to allow for enough time.
