Awful experience and will never be back. Service was both rude and slow. Food was not good at all. Not fresh or even the correct temperature. We also took slices of pie home to-go. Almost an entire slice was eaten before noticing it had mold. Pastries and sweets have to sit for a longggg time to get mold. As said before we will never return

It's a breakfast staple for us and the pie is amazing. They have it all when it comes to breakfast, it's cooked well and the servings are generous. Service is always attentive. Highly recommend if you are looking for a laid back breakfast spot!

Not overly satisfied with my meal, but it wasn’t bad either. I asked for my pancake to be cooked longer and for it to be crispy. I was really craving a delicious pancake because in the reviews I saw someone mention how great their’s was and it was cooked exactly like I wanted & asked for, but I received a regular pancake that tasted pretty basic when I could have got the same flavor and taste from a pancake at a fast food restaurant. Not what I was expecting for home cooking. The eggs tasted as if they were seasoned with water.. not tasteful at all. Thank God my to-go had some salt and pepper packets, so that fixed that issue. My favorite was the hash browns. Also, the service was good. I ordered to-go, but lady upfront was nice and attentive, and my food came out fairly quick.I’ll probably give Jay Jay’s one more try and if it’s better, I will come back to review.

This place was nice and delicious, there were some small issues we had like waiting 40 minutes for the food and paying about $2 extra for avocado when it’s about 1/8 of the avocado. The waiter was really nice and helpful. Overall nice experience the area was clean and fresh.

Food was very good. I loved loved loved the waffle. Didn't care too much for the chicken fried chicken, it wasn't crispy enough but overall everything was good.

This is a classic diner in the best kind of way the coffee is great the service is excellent. It's certainly a great place to bring a family. I've hesitated writing this review because I don't want all of Arlington descending on my favorite breakfast spot. But I certainly love this place the food is amazing the pies are outstanding it's just a great place to eat. So save me a spot and enjoy.

I like to look for local eateries. I understand this place has 3 locations. The food was good. The service was efficient, and the value was excellent. I'm not really sure why the waitress had that ridiculous mask on her face, so long after the rest of us are over that irrational hysteria. But that was the only negative thing about the place.

We wound up at Jay Jay after waiting 20 minutes for Old West Cafe to open up, which they did 10 minutes after posted opening time ... but this turned out to be Karma at its best ... the food and service were great ! We'll be back !

I was early for an appointment, so we thought we would stop in to eat some breakfast. We have eaten there several times before and it was good and the place was clean. We walk in at 715am, shortly after they open, and there is only two tables occupied at this time. As I open the door, it literally smelled like someone sh** their pants and had the entire place smelling. Of course, I have no filter but the GF told me to be quiet and sit down. I know our waitress heard me but she ignored me. Then asked for the table to be cleaned because there was something sticky on it. She literally came back with a damp paper towel and wiped it up!! I was grossing out even more but again told to be quiet! Get our food, which I did not eat much because it tasted nasty and I was so grossed out from the sh** smell and not sanitized table. Finally, we pay and I look down, and a few ROACHES are crawling under the pie case!! AGAIN, I yell, EWWW, ROACHES, that's so disgusting. As the cashier and waitress just stand at the register looking at us. Again told to shut up and go to the truck that I don't need to announce it to everyone!! I said yes I do!! I need to let others know how nasty the place is and make them aware of the bugs in case they didn't see them. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!! I knew I should have continued with my adult fit throwing and just walked back out as soon as I smelled the awful sh** smell. This place doesn't even deserve the one star, but had to just to post my review!!

On a bland diet and was able to enjoy a small serving of mashed potatoes with cream gravy. Place was busy and staff was moving too and fro. Rolls were great. One drawback is no sour cream or A1 steak sauce was offered by the server. We had to ask someone else for it and a to go box for Rhonda's lunch.

We planned on going to Old West for breakfast; however, we saw there was a line formed by the time we arrived. Instead of wasting time waiting for a table, we went to Jay Jay Cafe nearby. There was no line and the restaurant was half full. The food was fresh and hot. The server was friendly. We were so glad that we chose Jay Jay.

Food was good and service was friendly. The pies were good but I will have to stick with the fruit pies next time over the creme pies.
