Came in around 1:00 on a Sunday afternoon and did not have to wait very long for a table. Lots of fresh pies available for purchase and menu as a little something for everyone. Service has been great and very friendly.

Great old Arlington restaurant with great home cooking and service. Craig took great care of us. The rolls and cornbread are awesome. Breakfast or lunch works. Senior meals available. And of course you have to end the meal with their wonderful pie.
If my baked potato wasn't dried out, I would have given 5 stars on the food. I spent what I did because I purchased a whole pie

Good and service was good. Got the Salmon special. My whole family had stomach cramps and diarrhea the following morning after eating dinner. A family member said the same thing happened when they ate there.

Jay Jays was a pleasant place to find a meal at affordable prices. Our waitress was really nice and made good recommendations on what to get. We ordered the cheese fries to start with their homemade ranch. They were tasty and filling, but be advised they are made with processed cheese slices and bacon. I had the pecan chicken and a dinner salad that counted for my 2 sides. The chicken was thin and so tender I could cut it with my fork. I would recommend it. The chicken fried steak looked and tasted like it was heated from a pre made frozen variety. We did not try the pies but they looked delicious. The prices are great here and they have specials for lunch and dinner.
