I've been to Japan, China town in every city (including NY). The noodle here is run by a guy who went to Japan for 4 years just to make broth and noodles. I have nothing else to say.

We’ve been coming to Kintaro for quite some time, unfortunately some recent changes hit the mark.
Came Sept 7 around 2pm
Empty tables all dirty - staff chilling in the corner on their phones - chatting. Had to bus our own table
They changed the recipes it seems or were having an off day - flavors were less pronounced more standard run of the mill ramen
No longer a bowl of ramen, more like a plate.
Wife’s was exceptionally dry, photo is before eating. Asked if we could even purchase additional broth and was told no.
Just to be blunt if a couple is spending 75 on ramen and appetizers and the ramen is dry just give them broth. To refuse this and even refuse the purchase of broth is absurd
Just a massive miss - if this was our first experience we most certainly would never go back.

Utter disappointment!! Been coming here for over two years. Yall fell off. For one the service was horrible this go round. Waited almost 30 minutes for my to go order. Sat and watched 4 people that ordered after me get their food. Then when I get home, the food is not the same as I’ve always ordered. The Draculas Bane is mid. It was lack luster. No flavor, missing the roasted garlic like it used to have. The noodles is not the same either. My husband was so disappointed. That was his favor. He say that was the last time going. The gyoza also changed. It was overly salty. Felt bad for my husband cause my beef bulgogi was the only thing that was ok. $48 order down the drain.

One of the best ramen places I've been to thus far. The tonkotsu is amazing and I recommend the takoyaki for an appetizer. The place is a little small and has limited seating so be sure to call ahead to reserve a seat if you have a larger party.

I went there yesterday with a friend and the food was REALLY good! The staff was super nice (especially the servers - the girl in particular) and the vibe was good. I really recommend for both the food and just the general experience.

I got the spicy miso ramen, The noodles are hard and the broth wasn’t seasoned with anything but spice. The workers were nice tho

I FINALLY got here! I 1st saw a news feature on Kintaro a few years ago & saved it to visit. Well it took years but it was worth the wait and hour long drive! I have the vegetarian ramen and the flavors were amazing! It was comfort food in a ramen! My daughter had a spicier bowl and she really enjoyed hers (not sure the name but see the pic). The appetizer- the dumplings, were served with soy sauce- they were so flavorful, the soy sauce was unnecessary! Definitely give them a try. I'm don't have a background in traditional ramen (my 1st nonAmerican experience was in South Korea and it definitely was not as amazing as this!) but I think people who enjoy ramen would definitely like this!

Forgot my order and after bringing it out 20 minutes later than everyone else’s the gyoza were not good and much less crispy than the other orders at my table. The filling was very mushy with a bad flavor and texture. The ramen is average.

Came with a party of 8 and had no trouble finding a table. When you arrive order at the kiosk. Find a table and wait for your order. Simple, quick and efficient. This location is very cold so if you need a jacket don't forget it. Staff is really friendly when we walked in and while we waited for our food. About $15 a bowl of ramen. Free refills. When you order at the self kiosk you do have the ability to tip staff.

Very good food. Made very well.
The tonkatsu ramen was simple and delicious.
The karaage was fantastic.
Our favorite dish was probably the takoyaki. Tasted very authentic. Very delicious.

You call that a piece of chicken? It’s only like one inch big! I’ve been coming here for years but they’ve gone down hill that is also the thinnest slice of pork belly they’ve ever given me. For $26 you think you would at least get a whole slice I’ll never be back. That’s just pure carelessness
