I had an incident where my plate was brought to me, and there was a drop of BLOOD on the plate. The gentleman who brought my plate to me (Mark) brought some bags of bread to our table, and I noticed his thumb was BLEEDING. There was also BLOOD on the bread bag the gentleman got for us. I took my plate to the cashier and informed her of what had happened. They proceeded to gaslight me and tell me that it was blueberry jam. Another customer I had been speaking with spoke up and told the team that I saw a cut on the man's hand, and it was indeed BLOOD. A female manager on her way out (I guess her shift had ended) told me again that it wasn't BLOOD. It was blueberry jam, and I kindly informed her that the gentleman had a cut on his thumb and was indeed BLOOD on my plate. Mark looked at my plate and said, "Oh yes, there is something on your plate. Would you like me to remake it?" His thumb (left hand) was tucked into his hand and covered by the other fingers. I kindly requested a refund, which they gave me. When Mark brought my receipts to me, his left hand (only left hand) was now gloved.
It wasn't blueberry jam. It was BLOOD, and his glove-adorned hand proves that to be true.

I’m saddened to say this was the worst La Madeleine food I have ever tasted, and it’s the first time I had it in Arlington. I realize I came two hours before closing, but the price that I paid is too high to be served carelessness. The food was so bad, I wouldn’t feed it to a pet. I had the country breakfast. The potato cakes were so hard and stale, I could barely eat it. The sausage was thoroughly wet and soggy, it was making me sick to finish it. How long had that food been sitting, who knows.. Please cook your food fresh. I know you think no one notices, but we do! If you wouldn’t eat it, don’t serve it. Not worth a dime.

Why are the almond croissants not brushed with apricot glaze? It makes such a huge difference. I have been having an almond croissant once a week for over two years. One time the pastry had a beautiful almond glaze,sliced almonds, with a generous portion of almond paste. Unbelievable.

I’ve never been here before and for my first experience here, it was more than amazing. Everything was fresh and delicious. The restaurant is very clean. The pictures explain it all.

Good food. Quiet enough to enjoy visiting without yelling.
My family and I ate there last night and the atmosphere was as nice as I remember. The young lady that took our order at the front desk was super nice and polite, but the rest of the staff seemed to be irritable. The manager had a mad look on her face the entire time we were there. The food was okay, but most of it besides the soup was cold. I’ve never had any issues with the food ever, but today my stomach has been hurting so bad. I didn’t not eat anything else that evening so I’m pretty sure it was the food. The service industry used to have better standards and are slacking so much now.

Here for a birthday brunch! Crepes with cream cheese and blueberries and blueberry drizzle AND scrambled egg with Swiss crepe with mushroom sauce- yummy!!!

I ordered the quiche after a dental procedure (not my best idea), so it was just okay under the circumstances. That said, I definitely think this spot deserves another chance when I can fully enjoy the food. On the bright side, the service was great, the staff was friendly, and the location was clean. Looking forward to giving it another try!
