My mom and I come here pretty often with my two little kids. We love the food and enjoy girl time at brunch. But this location in Arlington has spotty service. Some of the employees are not very friendly, but some are nice. So our experience varies depending on who is working that day.The last two times we’ve gone, the employees have given my mom a hard time for ordering a kid’s meal for my two year old. I guess because they don’t want adults to order from the kids menu? Today they told us we couldn’t have hot tea for my 2 year old even though he loves it. They ultimately relented and gave us the tea bag when my mom pointed to him sitting with me at the table. Maybe they want my two year old to order for himself instead of his grandmother ordering for him.Also at lunch, the coffee is almost always too cold and we have to get it heated by the employees. Which they are nice about doing for us, but it’s just frustrating that the coffee isn’t already hot.I understand having a rule that adults can’t order from the kid’s menu, but after someone has ordered two meals and coffees, why question the third one being from the kid’s menu? Must be a power trip or management issue. We don’t have this kind of negative experience at the Southlake and Tyler locations.
