Combination fried rice did not have beef in it, but like eckrich sausages cut in it which change the quality and taste of the Chinese dinner.

Lisa's Chicken has built a reputation as a no-frills, go-to spot for classic fried chicken, and it’s easy to see why. The chicken is the star of the show, consistently praised for being hot, fresh, and perfectly crispy. The batter is seasoned well, providing a satisfying crunch that isn’t overly greasy, a common pitfall for many fast-food competitors. Whether you opt for the classic dark meat, a mix, or the generous chicken tenders, the result is a juicy and flavorful piece of chicken that tastes like it just came out of the fryer.
The value proposition is a major draw for customers. Many reviews highlight the affordable prices and generous portions, making it a great option for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. A two-piece chicken dinner with two sides and a roll is often cited as a full and filling meal. While the fried chicken is the main attraction, the menu offers a solid selection of sides, including corn nuggets, mac and cheese, and fried okra, to round out the meal.
While not every review is perfect—some mention inconsistent quality at certain locations or a slightly salty flavor—the overwhelming sentiment is positive. Lisa's Chicken has cemented itself as a local favorite in the DFW area, beloved for its fresh, affordable, and simply delicious fried chicken. It’s the kind of place that loyal customers return to again and again, proving that sometimes, simple comfort food is all you need.

I want to start by saying that the service was amazing and it didn't take too long for me to get my food. The food was hot, but the green beans tasted canned. I got some fried chicken, fried fish and pork chops. The batter didn't really stick to the pork chops and the taste was bland. All of the meat was that way except the chicken. The chicken wasn't too flavourful, but the batter stuck. Overall it was okay but it's not something I feel like I need to try again. The price point is really good though.

Truly a language barrier. Almost drove off but I checked my order and I had no condiments, so I had to get out of my truck and walked in because the line does fill back up very fast. But it was worth it because I love their fish.

Pretty much standard fast food fare. I had chicken tenders with fries, gravy and a roll. Very similar to a Church’s chicken.
