Google search had this place as highly recommended for menudo in the area. I stopped by for a to go order. They asked if I wanted hominy. I said yes. They asked about bread/tortillas. I said no. They gave me 1 napkin, which is funny. I get home and stir and stir. There is no hominy in the menudo. There is a small container of onions, jalapeño and lime - no cilantro. Other places give chips and salsa. It looked really good, but the flavor was disappointing. I had to add salt and pepper to get the taste semi-correct and as much as I love tripe, the lack of hominy just kept it from being enjoyable.

Had the pleasure of trying this new restaurant in the area & absolutely loved it!
We were greeted by the staff upon entering the establishment & quickly got us started with chips & salsa. They brought 2 different salsa green & red. The green salsa was that type where they grill the peppers and veggies. So good! 😌🤌🏼 the red salsa was more of a fresh salsa, typical chips&salsa type but also great flavor!

The food is authentic Mexican food. The flavors take you back! I got crispy tacos (to be completely honest I thought they were gonna be with the fried tortilla) these were hard shell tacos but the meat flavor was so good!!! Their rice and beans were tasty!! My boyfriend got the beef flautas, I had one and I was in heaven! 😌😂💁🏻‍♀️ also their flautas are huge! Both plates came with 3 plus rice & beans. Oh I also got an Agua de horchata and it was great! Not overly sweet just 👌🏼

It has been a long time since I was in this neighborhood... and since I was, all I could think about was the amazing food here! B sire to ask for the green salsa... it does have a little kick and tasted exactly as I remembered! Fantastic tamales, especially the chicken ones! The inside is functional with ample seating amongst the dated decor. It is a small hole in the wall u don't want to miss!!

I've been eating here every since I was little and everything still tastes as good as always. My favorite are the enchiladas verdes! The staff and owner are very friendly. The parking lot is small so on busy days you might have to park near the back of the restaurant.
