Marcona Kitchen - Catering

I am giving this a mixed review. we were so excited to find a meal prep place that seemed to have a lot of options. We have had a couple of things which were pretty good, including some kind of chicken and risotto and a couple desserts. We also had the chicken fried steak meal for four with sides, and a different time, some of the gyoza dumplings. I heated the chicken fried steak separately in the oven per their website instructions, on the oven for one family member was home and put the rest in the fridge. Heated the rest later. I kid you not, the whole house smelled greasy and not great. I had to open windows and turn on fans to try to air out the kitchen. The same thing happened when we heated the gyoza, except this time someone put it in the microwave rather than the oven. The whole microwave and kitchen did not smell great and I had to clean out the microwave, air out the kitchen, and clean all the surfaces. Maybe these particular items are just odorous, but the whole point of heat and eat foods to me is a break from the norm of cooking, not having to mess up and then clean the kitchen every night for every meal. I am disappointed.

I love their meal prep but was completely blown away by the chocolate birthday cake I ordered for my husbands birthday! Everyone was raving! Thank you for making his night special

Just had a few different dishes at a wedding they were catering! Absolutely delicious ! Bacon lollipop ?!? Sushi ( I don’t even like sushi) and mini tacos ….evening was delicious !

10/10. I am extremely picky on meal prep services or reheated meals period and let me tell you, it was amazing. The food quality, flavor and portions sizes are great. It's an overall great value for the overall food. I will be getting meals from here weekly!! Building is well maintained & people are very nice!

The Valentine's Day meal for two is without question one of the best meals we have enjoyed. Thank you, Marcona for offering so many delicious choices.

I have always enjoyed every single meal I've ordered from Marcona Kitchen. In addition their coconut Macaroons are out of this world deliscous. However, they offered Pork, Beef and Pablano/w cheese Tamales the day before Thanksgiving, The cost was a bit high at $15 for 6 but I expected the best so I purchased the pork and the Pablano w/cheese. Very very disappointed. Both had zero flavor, the pablano barely had a strip of pepper in each and never did find the cheese. The pork maybe had a teaspoon of filling. Needless to say I will not serve for the holiday, they are in the trash. I am shocked as I truely expected more. I thought it was just mine but I called a friend and hers too were mostly masa and no flavor or filling.

I ordered a 25th Wedding Anniversary cake and it was AWESOME! Delicious and beautiful made to my specifications.

Katie and her team are AMAZING! The food was fabulous and the service impeccable! Would not have changed a thing for our daughter’s wedding weekend! Definitely recommend! 10/10

We’ve now used Marcona for numerous private events both for catering needs as well as custom cakes (birthdays, showers, gender reveal etc.). Every single time they knock it out of the park with taste and design!

Great food

Marcona Kitchen is just fabulous! Their family meals have been a lifesaver for our family of four (with two kiddos under the age of three).It feels like we have our own private chef making creative, balanced, delicious meals for us! Our toddler loves them, and there’s plenty of options to introduce new foods to our baby for baby-led weaning, too. The portions are generous, and we always have enough for leftovers and/or guests.Don’t even get me started on their desserts. Just wow.The only thing better than the food is the service! The team is so friendly and makes ordering and pick up a breeze.My only regret is not trying this place sooner! DO NOT SLEEP ON MARCONA KITCHEN!

This kitchen has amazing meals for a working household, easy & quick ordering/pickup and scrumptious. They will email you the menu for the following week which helps for those who like to plan meals before grocery shopping. Thank you Katie and team ❤️
