Chef Jana made both the wedding cake and the groom's cake for my daughter's wedding. Her husband is from Brazil, and he really wanted a bolo de leite ninho for the wedding. Jana was able to make the most delicious cake for him that tasted just like home. She also made a traditional American wedding cake for my daughter, and it was the most beautiful cake. Everyone loved it and wanted to know where it was from. From the tasting to design, to payment and delivery, everything was seamless and perfect. I ordered a chocolate cake for my birthday, and while it looked absolutely stunning and was exactly how I envisioned it visually, the taste was a big letdown. The texture was extremely dry and crumbly, which made it difficult to enjoy. I was really disappointed, especially since it was meant for a special occasion. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and polite throughout the process, but unfortunately, the flavor and quality of the cake didn’t meet expectations.

Fruit in the filling was old and spoiled. The cake was for an event on a Saturday, but the cake had been made several days prior. The juice from the strawberries had seeped into the cake.

The outside was pretty, but the client spent a lot of money for an inedible cake.

When strawberries go bad in a cake, it can cause a mild case of food poisoning.
