Made fresh right in front of me! You can’t beat the price for 3 tacos + rice and beans! The taste was also second to none. Well seasoned, with bright and authentic flavor. Everything was fresh from the rice (Taco Bell and taco Bueno could never) to the beans and meat. I got chorizo and Birria. You must try this place out.

Amazing! I had the brisket and chicken plate with beans and corn - SO much food...It was delicious, you could see the smoke ring on both meats.Hubby had the street tacos also soooo good, loved the cilantro and lime combined with the meat.Don't walk, run! Smokin hot!!

AMAZING! Large portions for cheap! Tacos are great. Also the man who works it is super nice and friendly. If you’re a UTA student, mavs grill is your best friend. Great prices for large delicious portions.Also, don’t forget to bring some cash to drop in the tip jar! They can’t do electronic tips.

edit: they started wrapping them in paper and it's better now! changed to 5 starsfood is great but if you get a burger to go, ask them to put it in a paper bag. otherwise they use styrofoam and your burger ends up soggy.

Earlier this year, I commented on this establishment's business page with criticisms of the treatment of their employees during a pandemic. As a response to this comment (after they deleted it), the owner of the bar stalked my online profile and contacted my employer at the time to demand my termination. Not only did they threaten to pull their account with my former employer unless they fired me (which they did), they ALSO demanded a written apology from me. In addition to all of this, the owner then messaged me via private messenger to gloat about having called my workplace and then to call ME an a******* This business places no value on the well being of their community or of their employees. I lost my job because an adolescent business owner didn't like my public comment, but their employees are objectified online on a public forum and they have no problem with it (as pictured above)? I would think twice about the values of businesses you are choosing to support during these troubling times.

Great time! Outside eating. Strict mask requirement -- we really appreciate that. Food was excellent as were the cocktails, and beer selection. There was an outside band -- The name was something like we are not horses. We spent Saturday afternoon there having a great lunch listening to music in a rustic environment. Just simple fun. We highly recommend this place. People are very friendly.

If you are a person of color, stay away from the new Mavericks Bar. On 1-11-2020 I was accused by the door man of stealing his phone, and once he got in my face yelling and screaming, he called the police becsue he felt threatened. So ashamed this happened in my home town of Arlington. Blacks not welcomed here

A church group I belong to meet once a month at a downtown location to eat and have a brief meeting. It's 6-8 people so not a huge group. For the second time, we tried to meet/eat at Mavericks tonight only to arrive and find it closed. We thought the first time was a fluke, something unexpected. The website shows they are supposed to be open at this time. No sign on the door. Don't think we will try again. Thankfully, Gilligan's is close and that's where we landed the first time and tonight.
