I miss this place, but unfortunately, it is closed now.I still think Maxfrut was awesome! As a Gastric Bypass patient, eating desserts is something I don't get to do very often. They make everything from fresh fruit, and this gives their fruit bars a refreshing distinction from their supermarket counterparts.As for this location, the owners are always friendly and passionate about their food. When they say it's much healthier and tastier than ice cream, I agree. They'll help you explore their many options to make sure you have a great experience and enjoy your sweet treat.And, at this location, you can have any of their pops dipped in chocolate! Yes, I said chocolate. But, once you dip it in chocolate, I'm pretty sure it's no longer anywhere near healthy. But, it's chocolate, so really, who cares?At this point, I've tried a few flavors, but my favorite is still the Mango flavor. They have everything I love about mango's without all the work and messiness. Plus, they are refreshing on a VERY hot Texas day.All in all, I recommend Maxfrut. If you're in the area and looking for dessert, you cannot go wrong here. And, if you see these pops at your local haunts, buy one! You won't be disappointed.
