Horrible! Will never go back. The absolute worse waitress I've ever experienced. I should have refused to pay for the cold hamburger and tater tots. It was my vegan sisters birthday and she likes the place so I didn't want to make a scene.

Our family of 12, four generations, went to the Mello Mushroom in downtown Arlington at 5 pm 9/13, to celebrate a birthday. Originally, we went to Cane Rosso, where we were told we couldn’t be serviced because all their indoor tables were taken. It was too hot to eat outside, so, I called Tipsy Oaks and asked if they had an indoor table for 12 available. They said yes. We walked down to their building where we were shown a table OUTSIDE. I called Mellow Mushroom and spoke to Marissa. I’m SO glad I did. EVERYTHING about our time there was AMAZING! Marissa had our table ready when we got there. She was very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly.
The food was delicious! We have a gluten free family member who said that was the BEST gf pizza they’d ever had. We have another lactose intolerant person who was THRILLED to see they offered dairy free cheese.
If you haven’t eaten at the Mellow Mushroom in a while, give them a try. Ask for Marissa. She is amazing!
Thank you to the staff at this location for helping us celebrate family time together. We are so appreciative!

Pizza rolls and pretzel bites were phenomenal. Pizza was decent. Burger was bland. Hostess tried to seat us (party of 6) at a 4 top table, then when we reminded her we were 6, she stormed off to a big booth and threw the menus down on the table and walked away. Maybe this had a negative effect on our experience for the rest of the night. I'll give them another try, but it won't be anytime soon. Cost to taste ratio was way off. I've spent a lot less on better tasting food.

Had my best-friend and his family come in for the weekend, and took them here. They were absolutely blown away by the pizzas and were actually mad at me because I hadn't taken them there before yesterday. We went to the lake the next day, and they were still talking about how good the pizza was. They are already ready to go back on there next visit back in 2 weeks. Great job Mellow!!!!!!

Would rate them 100 stars if I could. Marissa helped us with a last minute large order and was incredible, staying in touch and making sure everything was perfect. She went above and beyond to help us out. The food was delicious and we couldn’t have been happier. Highly recommend & make sure to say hi to Marissa- she’s an angel!

I do NOT recommend ever going to this mellow mushroom. This is the second time I’ve tried to take out an order and it’s absolutely a joke. The server is rude and the manager is a cook ? Absolutely ridiculous. I placed an order at 5:30 left 7pm without any food. No refund was given and all that the crumby “manager” did was give me his GM’s card. Please save your time and go elsewhere. 0 stars if I could.

Highly Anticipated

I ordered a pizza at 5:30pm got there when the app told me the pizza was ready at 6pm. I was told by the server and hostess that it was going to be a 7 - 8 min wait , after waiting for 30 mins I asked where my pizza was ... I was told rudely by the server that it was going to be another 8 min. I asked to speak to a manger to cancel my order and had to wait another 20 mins just for the cook to come out with a paper and pencil and tell him he couldn't do anything to void my order. Overall waited an 1hr to get the worst service I've ever had at this location. Ended up going to subway. Service as better there anyways.

The food was a huge disappointment — cold, undercooked, and completely tasteless. For the prices, I expected so much more. The only bright spot was the service: Nicole was an absolute delight, attentive and warm throughout the meal. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was underwhelming and did nothing to improve the overall experience. Great service can’t make up for poor food and lackluster ambiance.

Hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. We sat for over 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us, only to have our order messed up not once, but twice. When we complained, we were brushed off with a dismissive ‘sorry, we’re busy’,which was laughable considering the place was nearly empty. The staff clearly don’t care, the service is a joke, and management is nowhere to be found. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else.

Ate here 3 times in the last 2 months and the food and atmosphere was terrific and the waitstaff was very nice!
I have had the Pizza, Burger and Club and all were very good!
