Wow this place is amazing. We came from LA for a graduation and celebrated here after. Jafar was our server and he was such a great, helpful host. He was being helped by Charlie, who was also very sweet. Jafar even gave us free dessert on him. We loved it here because of the lovely service and the food was actually delicious. It was worth everything and we’ll be back here in 2 years to celebrate another graduation!

We’ve been to the area a few times (Go Cowboys!) but this was our first time eating here. Service & food was great. And the view… can’t beat it. Thank you!

The atmosphere was nice, but the steak was overcooked and crab cake appetizer was cold, ice cream on brownie was half melted and cream brûlée was cold.

This was a let down. The reviews indicated otherwise but the steaks were cold, the sides generic and it was definitely overpriced for what was served.

Mercury Chophouse is a nice restaurant with great food! My husband and I went for our 20th anniversary, it's a great special occasion restaurant. I was a bit sad about our experience, and here's why. We take turns planning our anniversaries, and I was pretty excited about trying Mercury. I made reservations days in advance, and even chatted with someone a few days before to confirm and remind them about our anniversary. We arrived a few minutes early. Our table wasn't ready, so we waited at the bar.... We waited for at least 15 minutes while others were being seated, but the bartender was nice to chat with. The hostess let us know a table was ready, but it was close to the next couple, so we could wait even longer if we'd like. We gave it a shot. It was very close to the next couple. I felt like we didn't have enough conversation just because of the close quarters, but we made the best of it. Both couples on either side of us were celebrating their anniversaries, which we knew because the server made it noticeable. The part that made me sad was even though I made note of our anniversary on the reservation and during the phone call to confirm, there wasn't any acknowledgement for us. My husband mentioned it, but it kind of felt like the server felt like he made it up because the couples next to us got a complimentary dessert. Out of all the adventures of the day, I was looking forward to the celebration that some restaurants do, which the neighbors got but we were left out. My husband couldn't have cared less, the food was good and the company even better. Just a suggestion for other patrons, if you're celebrating something, make sure they are aware. 😊

My husband brought me here for my birthday dinner.
The food we ordered was bland, it would have been better if we went to steak n shake across the street.
The filet mignon was good but overcooked and Mac and cheese was okay.
The only special thing about the grilled chicken pasta, corn risotto and baked potato was its blandness.
The waiter had a problem, I asked him what was in the butter since it was sour and it had green speckles.
He said “lots of things” then proceeded to name them but with a snappy attitude. This waiter has heard every line ever invented, he couldn’t have any time for my table.
I do appreciate the birthday chocolate mousse, thank you!
The hostess was nice, singer was good and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Service was excellent. My medium rare Ribeye steak was tough. We will go back but I will select a different steak next time.

Took a client to dinner here based on the strong reviews, but unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the hype. The calamari was average at best, the steak cigars tasted more like basic steak egg rolls, the Caesar salad was dry, and the elk was chewy and undercooked. The only highlight of the meal was the risotto, which was excellent. Drinks were okay, and service was average for what’s considered a high-end steakhouse. Overall, disappointing experience given the reputation.

The prime rib was cooked perfectly. The Chilean Sea Bass was simply amazing. Nice crust and tender center, could not have been better. Service was also fantasic. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a wonderful meal with tremendous service.
