Tried a Mindy Lu's pie at convenience store in Oklahoma. Really good! Researched company and stop in when passing through the DFW area and bought 2 dozen to take home. Highly recommend, will be back.

I bought these online, but was kinda hesitant since I live in Ohio. But, they were better than I expected. The crust makes a pie a good pie, and the crust was really good. I live not far from Amish country and buy theirs whenever I see them. You can't beat an Amish fried pie, but these are up there. And I prefer unglazed like these. Yeah, these are really good pies.

They have the "sweet" down, but the flavor is absent. Strawberry Cheese Cake was decent but Apricot and Blueberry were sweet but flavorless.

They are not terrible but for my money with this kind of pie, I prefer Hostess or Mrs. Baird's pies. The crust has very little flavor or richness and the pineapple filling was so-so. I've seen them at my Randall's grocery store for a long time so I'm happy I tried one to see how I felt it stacked up to other's out there.

These really are good pies...when you can find them fresh. I've bought far too many lately with the filling so dark, tough, and rubbery that I could have replaced the souls of my shoes with them. NASTY!!! .....and at a buck eighty five each, they're just not worth it. I've bought the last one I'll ever buy.

The package said blueberry but inside was peach. I ate it was good. Not sure if I would trust buying blueberry again.

These are the best fried pies by far! The CRUST! THE CRUST! Just like my dear departed mother's! Ingredients are the same with all pie crust but Mom said it was all in the technique. The hand. Evidently Mindy Lu must use a similar technique. I was introduced to Mindy Lu here in Del Río at the 5 Points convenience store about 4 months ago when there was an ownership change. Enjoying one right now on New Year's morning between masses. Keep up the good work and taking pride in your product. Good luck and God Bless ?❤️
