My husband and I Love eating breakfast at this place.. the food is Delicious!!! So many choices and did I mention large portions??? We always have leftovers to take home whenever we go. ❤️Also, the staff is always super friendly as well as accommodating!!!

This was my first time coming here and it was amazing. Recommend trying the Six Shooter. They close at 2:00 so it will have to be breakfast or brunch.
Our waitress literally forgot about us. They were super busy when we got there but the waitress came and took our order then left us for 45 minutes. We had to ask another waitress who was super proactive and helpful to see where our food was and she was right on it. She told us that they lost our ticket in the rush, which is understandable. What wasn’t okay was that our waitress ignored us because we were a smaller party compared to one of the bigger parties at the restaurant. We will not be coming back.

This was my first time visiting Dallas with my parents and I was completely impressed with the service! We waited 10 minutes to be seated and about 25 minutes for the food to come out, the food exceeded my expectations and our waiter James, displayed extraordinary customer service! If you come here as for him. He goes above and beyond. This will most definitely be my go to brunch spot.
Excellent food with massive portions! Go hungry or share your meal. Their skillet meals are delicious and very large. I was really hungry and could only finish half of my food.I got the Coosies skillet. The only reason i gave 4 stars on the atmosphere is because it's really noisy in there. It's hard to carry on a conversation across the table due to the number of people talking.I still highly recommend this place for a fresh delicious meal. ??
After going to the Ol'west Cafe, I wanted to take a moment and let folks know.James was our waiter and he was outstanding!! Old school outstanding. As he took care of us, and other tables, he moved around the public area as if he wasn't there, but noticed all. He'd only ask if we needed anything, such as water, tea, or other specifics when he saw the drinks were half full. He made a special point to check after we'd had eaten part of our breakfast to see if everything was ok or not. My wife had an issue with a side, and he found another she wanted, got it ordered and brought to the table before we could blink. I was outstanding!I cannot say enough about his service. And yes, the food was as always outstanding, he will be a key reason we'll be returning soon.Thank you.

I met a friend for breakfast. We had eaten here before. There were very few customers at the time I arrived. The friend had already been there for maybe 5-10 minutes & still had not been approached by a server. We waited several more minutes before speaking with the hostess about no server yet. She then got a server to come to the table & took our drink & food orders. The portions are large & the food was good. We had to wait several minutes to see the server again to get & pay the check. It was raining which could have affected what staff was available. I do like the food, large portions & reasonable prices. I would recommend.

First off, I LOVE Old West. It's by far better than Cracker Barrel. This visit was highly anticipated since I've been craving the lemon blueberry pancakes and hash brown casserole. The hostess at the front put us on the wait list by phone number, and said it would be 10-15 minute (party for 2) wait and we accepted. After watching 3 more families come in after us and hear them to be seated (now about 20 minutes later), I went to the hostess to inquire about our table. She looked at her tablet and replied "oh, I don't see your name on here." Well... We had already received a text with waiting instructions, so I think that was just a way to deflect a mistake. A little ownership and an "I'm sorry" would've went a long way! So they rush to get us the next table available, and everything after that encounter was great. Our server, Bre, was very attentive and welcoming. She made sure we had everything we needed. The food? Come on... It's Old West. 5/5! The overall experience would've been perfect aside from the seating blunder. But of course, we'll be back.

I ordered blueberry pancakes and got hardly any blueberries. I also tried to substitute the eggs for more bacon and did not get my extra bacon like I ordered. Very disappointing.

I had an incredible dining experience at Old West Cafe in Arlington, Texas. The food was simply amazing, and I couldn't get enough of the peach cobbler pancake. Our server, James, was truly awesome, making the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for a delightful meal!
