Ricky's Hot Chicken

My first time here, and I was so impressed. I have tried a couple of other hot chicken places and Ricky's blew them all away.

Their chicken sandwich is the best I have had in the dfw area, it was cooked to perfection and the outer skin so light and crispy and the inner meat was juicy and tender. It was so good, love it!

Ricky's Hot Chicken is The absolutely best chicken spot around. FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE I Love everyone there they are a 10 out of 10 because I recommend them to everyone. And they are very affordable my go to restaurants never disappoint.

My best friend showed me this place I am so glad that she did because the food is so delicious. I always got the tender and the come back sauce.

First time here. And wow. Chicken is super juicy. Don't know how they do that it's better than Dave's and also the cook shack. We got the chicken and waffles only server sat and Sunday and it was super good. I tried the xhot level. Has ghost peppers and it's 🔥. I couldn't stop eating it though. The flavor and the juicyness was delicious

That was some of the most over seasoned food I’ve ever had in my life. The most Indian dish of Indian dishes I’ve ever eaten was light seasoning compared to this place.
It was so much seasoning that I feel like throwing up…
And they close at 2 PM so they gladly kicked us out right at 2:01…
They wouldn’t let us finish the food, but luckily I didn’t want to finish the food. I was ready to leave…

I returned after about a year, wanted to give it another chance and im sooo glad I did..
Absolutely phenomenal, the owner manager is amazing. His hospitality is remarkable. Thank you for making sure the chicken was cooked to perfection.
Last year he suggested I ask for no grease n it did not disappoint. Thank you

(2024) It was a small but appealing sitting area, very open, very cold ( bring a light sweater)The guy that helped us was VERY nice..menu is short and simple. Upon receiving the food, appearance was lovely. I am only giving my opinion on my one time experience. We ordered Wings and fries. Although it was seasoned Very nicely I had to use paper towels to absorb the grease. I'm not crazy about dripping greasy food. I really wanted to love it..
Rating: (this is only my opinion)
Chicken: I give 4/5 for flavor. 1/5 for texture. Only because of the grease. (Some people love this part) Mr Rick did reach out and rectified the issue, w an apology flavor is nice.

Chicken is so damn good and the prices are very solid! Better than Dave’s and other Nashville hot chicken I’ve tried. My favorite go to place for this type of chicken! Also a word of warning, the hot and above is very hot. I love spicy food and medium is about as high as I’ll go for a comfortable experience. Try it out You won’t regret it!

Between Dave’s and Ricky’s I’d say Rickie’s beats in price as on Mondays is the 15% off discount for customer loyalty.

And prices are much more affordable compared to Dave’s and you get a drink included.
