First this has been my go to seafood place for at least the last 7 years. Today was a game changer. The sauce was so salty I had to send it back. I have ordered the same every time but today it was horrible. When my food returned it seemed as if was rinsed off and served to me again. As I waited to get my order the customer at the table next to mines sent hers back for the same reason.

We usually go to a different seafood place( will not name the name) but they were packed. So we ended up here. We go every year to the other one to celebrate my son’s birthday who passed. He loved seafood( and the other restaurant). Anyway, the food was horrible but we didn’t want to complain. It was half empty and it still took 20mins of not longer to get the food out. It was so greasy. The alligator meat that we had was so chewy and greasy as well as the fried pickles. We will make sure we make reservations at our usual spot ahead of time. I see why this place was half empty. The server ( Islay M) was awesome.She was the only good thing about the night.

They need to seriously do better. I arrived at the restaurant at 6:17. I placed my order through their website and it told me my order should’ve been ready at 6:03. When I got there, They didn’t even have my order ticket printed out, so my order wasn’t Ready. I placed my order 34 minutes prior to getting to the restaurant and barely any customers were in there so they’re not busy. Do better because there should’ve been no reason I had to wait an additional 10 to 15 minutes for my order.

Drove 2 hours to eat here and the doors are locked. Nobody is answering the phones. Website hours say they open at 11:00 am and at 12:40 there is no answer.

I ordered delivery through Uber Eats. I got the shrimp platter and fried calamari, well something wasn’t right about the calamari. My mother and myself ended up with food poisoning. I’ll be calling the restaurant to inform them and reporting them to the health department as well.

Hello all, this was my 1st visit to the Shell Shack. The restaurant served hot delicious fried catfish and fried shrimp!! The onion rings were not quite as tasty however the server Tony was extremely helpful on explaining menu items and taking care of our large graduation party. Thank you Tony for your excellent attention to our party tonight.

Jaz was such a great server! She knew all the specials and was able to accommodate our party of 5. We had a great time with her and felt very welcomed. She made our dining experience feel like we were talking to a friend. I brought my friends here so they could finally have a real seafood experience and that they did. She took care of us and a fast and excellent way.. I was also thankful that this Shell shack had their hand washing station working. Tysm Jaz!
