I have been ordering from Skillman Wok in Arlington for 20 years and it’s always been my got to. My recent order was very disappointing. The egg rolls are smaller and taste was off for my General Tao and fried rice. $40 for our meal and it feels like a waste. Sad to say it’s time to find a new Chinese restaurant.

If you want rice that taste like it’s charred and cooked on a burned skillet then this place is for you. We also ordered sesame chicken and chow mein and found the chow mein was not very tasty. The sesame chicken wasn’t terrible but oily. But the rice by far was the worst disappointment. The sad part is we ordered three different kinds of fried rice and they all tasted charred. We definitely won’t be returning.

I asked for spicy rice & I got regular Mexican looking rice with no flavor at all. No soy sauce or at least some hot oil since my rice was not spicy & had no flavor. My first time eating there. Will I eat there again? Probably not. I called to let them know. Guy seemed kind & said take it back to correct it but no one has time for that. I let him know so hopefully won’t happen to anyone else.
